Criteria Studio in Miami, Florida was such an amazing place to work… here is a picture of Dave Percefull, my producer checking out the acoustics of the room and making some executive decisions!

Wondering what our new main control room looks like at yellow DOG? Here it is from the inside looking out and the outside looking in! 👀

yellow DOG Studio A is centered around a 32 channel Trident 88 analog console paired with a vintage Amek / Neve 9098i 12 channel sidecar & a Sony/MCI JH24 2”/24 track analog tape machine coupled with Pro Tools 12 via an Endless Analog CLASP. Same outboard, including 4 Rupert Neve Designs pre amps, mics and instruments we used at our Wimberley location.

This studio boasts a spacious 1472 square foot live room with 12’ ceiling height, as well as 3 isolation rooms totaling 384 square feet, all with 10’ ceiling heights. 🎶

Also had a chance to drop by the new @yellowdogstudios location this morning. These guys have taken over and transformed this super cool old church building in San Marcos. Huge main cutting room. Several other smaller studio spaces. Epic control room. Thanks @davepercefull @pockjohns for the tour! I can’t wait to hear all amazing music that comes out of this place.
