PROUD is the best word I can use to describe what it felt like to direct @theebillyporter for this @jimmychoo campaign. His kind words for me at the end of the shoot absolutely floored me and made me feel seen after years of my own feelings of (career) scarcity. Billy, I will hold onto your words for fabulous eternity and let them heal as they do so well...

Thank you 1000 times over to @jocbaldwin for the opportunity to direct my first fashion campaign.

Great job to my visionary DP @altmojica and our cam crew, esp @davesteffey.

Thank you @cindiblairproductions for helping turn thousands of emails into a beautiful production.

Epic build by @11thstworkshop (esp my boo @anthonyasarosetdesign)

It was an honor to work with you Ty @tytryone and the incomparable camcorder zaddy @colinmanderson.

Special thanks for @iamwestdakota for just being you.

Thank you @andrewcolvinmakeup and @adammaclay for all your hard, beautiful work. I lived.

Thank you @carrie.whitenoise and @gumstudios for being fierce as always!

My friends:
Finally, the seal has been broken, the angels have blown into their trombones, the lamb has gone "bläääärp" and "HAIL SATAN?" opens theatrically at IFC Center in NYC and the Arclight and Landmark in LA this weekend. FINALLY, SATAN WANTS TO FILL YOUR SOUL WITH... inspiration and good will to all and mirth?? Yup!

Making this film has been one of the great adventures and experiences of my life, where I learned a lot about religion, modern history, and politics - and about my own preconceptions. And I think and hope that it will be a surprising adventure for you to see it as well, where you will have a lot of fun and think a lot of thoughts you possibly haven't thought before. New thoughts are the most delicious treat of all!

So please do come - you'll have a blast and do the dark lord's work. Why, don't just take my word for it, listen to some of these satisfied testimonials from regular customers just like yourself: "Phenomenal. sets out to subvert American history with intelligence and wit." - Variety
"Hilarious - a must-see." - New York Times
"Wickedly funny, often heartwarming" - USA Today
"Provocative - hilarious. Satan is alive and well in the United States of America. Thank God for that." - Indiewire

Ticket link in my bio. Hope you can make it this weekend, or beyond. SATAN COMMANDS IT! ❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘
Wheeee!

"Alpha Fish" is now streaming on Amazon Prime! If you are an Amazon Prime member, just go to Prime Video and search for "Alpha Fish," and enjoy! It's been very interesting to explore different avenues of sharing an indie film. I will share my insights as I gather them.
