To some this may be a familiar face but for those who don't know this is David Garratt! David is one of the best photographers from across our network and regularly excels in his field. He currently services the Wellington area and is your local expert in anything Real Estate Marketing. 📸 Get to know David a bit better with this short blurb and let us know if you've seen David around town! "My passion for photography began at 12 when I received my first 35mm camera, and since then, I've always been the one behind the lens at family events. After earning a double major in marketing and management, I spent 18 years as a real estate agent in Wellington, buying, selling, and investing in homes. For the past 12 years, I’ve run a successful wedding and portrait photography business that grew naturally from my love for the craft. When the opportunity arose to join Open2view as a franchise owner, I transitioned to a full-time creative, combining my expertise in real estate, online marketing, and digital media. I’m regularly ranked in the top five national performers within Open2view, and in 2023, I was honored with Photographer of the Year, reflecting both my work quality and my dedication to supporting my network of agent clients. Having photographed over 8,000 Wellington properties, I’m committed to pushing the boundaries of real estate photography in New Zealand, constantly staying ahead of international trends and embracing new technologies like drones, floor plans, and 3D imaging." #photographer #team #realestate @open2viewwellington

Confession of a celebrant - the walk down the aisle is one of my favourite things about weddings!!! It's such an expression of beauty, personal preference and love and my god it's breathtaking and wonderful every time xxx. These are some of the spectacular walk-ins I have been privileged to witness at some of the epic weddings I have officiated xxx. I love my couples!!! Truly priceless - and proving that it's your wedding your way, these show brides walking in with mum, brother, dad, and stepdad but I have also had brides rock out a solo walk, grooms walk in, both sets of parents walk in, both sets of bridal parties walk in, dancing walk-ins and no walk-in xxx. All perfect and precious and to be celebrated xxx. I LOVE LOVE xxx. #wellingtoncelebrant #kapiticelebrant #wellingtonwedding #wellingtonweddings #nzcelebrant #marriedbymeganp

On a chance encounter 6 years ago at a New Years Eve party Bryce tried out his best pick up line yet. Paper, scissors, rock for a kiss? 😏 And ever since that day, he’s been grateful he plucked up the courage to try it out on the prettiest girl at the party. Bryce & Ashley’s wedding day may have been wild and very wet but it certainly wasn’t short of love and all the good party vibes a wedding needs - Ashley even did the worm dance in her wedding dress🔥 They asked for their ceremony to feel genuine, romantic and exciting and I think we nailed it. Bryce and Ashley also asked me to keep their ceremony a surprise from them so they could hear and react to it for the very first time on their wedding day and I loved seeing them get excited and laugh at all the goodies I’d filled their ceremony with like asking them to paper, scissors, rock for their first kiss as Husband and Wife 🥰 Congratulations again Mr & Mrs Knight x Venue @thelodgepauatahanuiinlet Photographer @davethevon Florist @blackrose_florist Ashley’s Dress @bridesonthorndon_ #marriedbyashleigh #justmarried #gettingmarried #truelove #wellingtonwedding #wellingtoncelebrant #manawatucelebrant #wellingtonevents #nzmarriagecelebrant #nzweddingplanner #weddingvendornz #lovestory #engagement #marriagecelebrant #weddingofficiant #engagednz #married #bridalportraits #weddingphotos #weddingceremony #wellingtonmarriagecelebrant #nzweddingvendor #weddingvendor #bestpickupline #pickuplines #indoorwedding #paperscissorsrock #relationshipgoals #marriedbyashleigh
