December 11th 1995 a little girl was born into this world. No one knew who she was going to be but the ONE and ONLY God Almighty knew her by name - Maya Claudette 🤍 fast forward THIRTY years later here I am so GRATFUL for every hill, valley, mountain, trial and tribulation He’s carried me through, because each and every moment has molded and made me into the God fearing, bold, accomplished, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, multi-faceted black woman I am today! Over the years He has carried me, isolated me, blessed me, pushed me, grew me and so much more. The Lord is the reason I am who I am, I have what I have, I do what I do and how I’ve made it to year THIRTY! Navigating life is HARD, making it through another 365 is HARD. With God I may not always have the understanding to why but He has always equipped me with what I needed to overcome and one of the MOST important blessing He’s gifted me is MY HUSBAND!!!! @shadshotit Thank you thank you thank you thank you!! You have made everyday since day one special and I knew THIRTY would be no different. You have truly outdone yourself. Surprise after surprise after surprise, I am still in shock, in awe and processing all that you’ve done for me in this past week! You are truly my EVERYTHING and while I knew I was yours too this was a mere reflection of how you make me feel! I LOVE YOU HOLMES! 💙 I appreciate every single person that was able to celebrate with me and those who shared beautiful words and wish me a very happy birthday. I appreciate every single one of you! Blessings and overflow for this next decade and beyond 🤍✨ Photographer: @victorcolephotography Planner: @harleyoevents_

It’s easy to celebrate you @shadshotit 💙 30 looks good on you! Thank you everyone that helped me celebrate the best human ever. The sacrifice you all made to travel isn’t lost on us at all, but more so we appreciate you for being supportive and committed to being there to celebrate such an important day! We had the best time eating, drinking, laughing and reminiscing with all of our family and friends!!! ❤️✨

I'm hanging out in Montgomery, Al, with my bestie. Her husband wanted to come to the fair they have here. We had a pretty good time.
