Legally Blonde was a WILD ride. New friendships, backstage shenanigans, and crossing off my bucket list item of performing as an understudy.

I feel so lucky to finally be able to do this show that has been so near and so dear to my heart for 12 years. And to be able to do it with this group is another gift on top of that. So much love, so much joy, so much sweat, and SO much hard work went into this project. Thanks so each and every person who was part of it.

I move out of state in a month and this was the perfect production to say goodbye to the theatre I grew up at, featuring a director I first worked with when I was 10 years old and at least three inches shorter (if that’s even possible). This was a wonderful full-circle moment in so many ways with friends I’ve made recently, ISU friends, and friends from childhood.

We had a wonderful cast, and incredible crew, a fantastic production team, and perfect dogs.

(I apologize for the limit of 20 tags, I’ve sent an email to Mr John Instagram and Ms Stephanie Facebook to rectify the issue so I can tag everyone in the future. It is being handled.)

there are no words and yet too many to accurately encompass how i’m feeling right now. getting to play THEE dream role was everything i imagined and more. for much of my life i’ve thought of elle and i as very different people. but in all honesty, we are more alike than we are different. her never ending optimism, hilariously sharp wit, and undying love for a side-quest have inspired me and taught me to be myself no matter what. elle, you are so much more than a blonde. i am beyond grateful. a million thank yous. i owe you everything.
