Took a jaunt over to River City for the weekend with @nationalasianartistsproject in The Music Man!

Sharing the stage with all-Asian performers and musicians was an honor. We don’t often get to see ourselves represented this way, let alone together in one space. There was something special about uplifting each other and discovering how our identities inform and deepen the Golden Age story we all know. It really does make a difference! So grateful to have been a part

NEWSIES💙

the biggest thank yous to @david.grin @ericapgotay @carolinegibel and the whole @kcstarlight team for the love and trust on this epic show that’s been a dream for so long 🥰 this cast is like no other and I’m very proud of what we were able to accomplish together in less than a week. Every day really felt like my barbershop haircut cost a quarter.

Much love,
Mush, Bill, Scab, & Fight Captain 💛

Disney’s Newsies hit the stage at the Starlight Theatre in Kansas City, and was highlighted by the large number of local performers. Read the review by following the link in our bio.

Seize The Day lives rent free in my head….
it was incredible to get to see one of my favorite Broadway songs live at the @kcstarlight

The cast is locally made and is incredible!! This production was self produced at Starlight! Huge congratulations to @david.grin the Director for a brilliant opening night!!

My tips if you’re going:
Clear bags
refillable cups
and dippin dots during the second act

We had the honor of getting to do a quick tour back stage. I love the behind the scenes stuff, all the creativity, the people, the systems… it’s amazing what happens behind the scenes

Highly recommend going to see this show.
