Crazy to think I met @david.paul.dnb 5 years ago at ReKinection in Astral Valley on some random shit (long story)

I don’t think we realized we’d end up being best friends, making music together, and djing b2b at the same place it all started many years later.

Here we are though

We’re playing 12:30am-1:30am Friday morning, hope to see y’all there!

Fostering community in the EDM is so beautiful and important! Because of the support we receive from our amazing community, we're able to provide so much support back to our community!

🎧 We lowered the barrier to participation.
🌀 We celebrated participation over perfection.
✨ We gave people a chance to try something they’d always wanted to do.
🤝 We connected different corners of the scene.
☮️ We created a safe environment where people of all experience levels could meet up without judgement and just PLURR vibes.

Open Decks, Open Flow was nothing but immaculate vibes 🪽🎀! What made this night so special wasn’t elaborate costumes, complicated themes, or the pressure to put on a “show" It was freedom to just FLOW. 🌀

Performers got to show up as themselves fully ❤️‍🔥 No character to embody, no expectations to meet.. Just props in hand, music in the air, the freedom to move and smile and breathe and communicate. And honestly? That was the magic 🪄 ✨ of the night!

Meanwhile, LiteBug hosted Open Decks + DJ Lessons LIVE, opening up the decks and inviting people into the process instead of keeping the booth behind a wall of mystery.
The CRAZIEST part was when they started pulling audience members up, people who were fidgeting with their USB nervously in their hand, eyeballing the sign up sheet but still unsure if they should be bold enough to try, and giving them a chance, a platform, to actually get behind the decks 🎧

That’s what we want Open Decks, Open Flow to be:
A place for the community where you don't have to be an expert. There's no added pressure for promotions and headliners and timeslots. A sanctuary where you don't need the perfect outfit or a stage persona. A place where you can be curious, try something new, and participate instead of just watching.
