What a contrast this place was. Right behind me, one couple was getting married, another was taking wedding photos, another was on a date… and then there were two single guys risking it all for the shot on the edge of the world. 🤪

A stay that made it very hard to leave. We had a fantastic experience at @bernarduslodge, from the beautiful property to the amazing staff who made every detail feel effortless. The last stop of the trip, a 3 a.m. wake up, legs still heavy from yesterday’s brutal climb. Last year, we never made it past the halfway point, snow buried the trail in 3ft drifts. This time, the path was clear. The air was still. Every step carried a quiet sense of redemption.
