Take a detailed look at the rear right corner and axle body on our Porsche 992 GT3R race car.
The multilink rear suspension centers on this axle body, which connects directly to the subframe with five forged control arms. One dedicated control arm functions as the toe control arm. A separate camber control arm manages precise angle settings. The remaining three control arms allow fully independent adjustment for optimal geometry.
Two large cooling ducts direct targeted airflow to the brake components. A separate duct channels air to the driveshaft area for thermal management under race loads. The center lock wheel system secures the rim with high strength drive pins on the axle hub.
Fine tuning comes through a full set of color coded shims in multiple thicknesses. These allow exact adjustments to camber, toe, ride height, and additional parameters without major disassembly. Every component here prioritizes rigidity, adjustability, and heat management for consistent performance lap after lap.
This is the foundation that lets the 992 GT3R deliver maximum traction and predictable handling on the circuit.

Detailed look at the damper on our Porsche 992 GT3R race car.
This damper provides five independent setup options on the valving, including blow-off valve and low-speed rebound plus multiple additional high-speed and low-speed compression and rebound circuits. A dedicated special tool fits over the valve with an internal Allen key for precise adjustments.
At the top eye, ride height is adjusted using shims. Two purple colored screws can be unlocked to modify both ride height and droop. The unit is engineered for rapid service, allowing quick spring changes. An additional bearing protects the damper body from scratching during spring rotation.
Multiple bump stop options further expand setup possibilities. The bump stop absorbs hard track impacts to safeguard the damper internals.
This design delivers consistent, tunable control lap after lap.

Today was a strong comeback where we showed what we can do!

Happy with the qualy performance, which we worked a lot on.

The race had its challenges but I’m happy with the final outcome considering the race we had.

Here’s a quick rundown of the main upgrades over the GT3 Cup car. You’ve got five damper setup options that the Cup just doesn’t offer. The GT3 R has way more carbon fiber throughout the bodywork, a super-minimal engine bay, extra width, and proper aero gains like that full carbon undertray. It’s also built to be mechanic-friendly—removing or fitting a new fender is really efficient now.
