Immensely grateful to get to be a part of this year’s Wind Up In A Lake with @wornandwound & @citizenwatchus. Such a fantastic way to celebrate 50 years of Eco-Drive. This edition had everything- some sporty chop on the way to the site, a gorgeous wreck, and a lost Aqualand.

Windup In a Lake 2026. Fun times diving with the @ships.log boyz, @brickro and Citizen Watches, and @kyality and the W&W crew. After an action packed motor out to the dive site, we geared up and submerged. Fun times diving with all the guys and the TGN legends. This is the stuff memories are made of.

Tough to beat a little underwater time with the @citizenwatchus 40th Anniversary Aqualand. 🌊

Admittedly, I’m a big Aqualand fan. I have eight different versions now, I think, which is insane. But this is the way. 💪

Still, I was excited to see Citizen commemorate the anniversary of one of history’s great dive watches with a modern version that calls directly back to a collector-favorite. 🔱

On top of that, even with everything that’s happened with dive watches and computers in the last four decades, the Aqualand holds up as a great dive watch. You’ll notice I didn’t wear a computer for the dive that bottomed out around 35 feet, and strangely, I survived. 🤷‍♂️ ☠️

And what better way to promote the 40th Anniversary model than @wornandwound getting a bunch of dive watch nerds into some ridiculous 80s-themed garb (swipe all the way right to see/roast) and sending the squad diving with the watch for a little event we like to call Windup In A Lake. 🤿

As ever, the event was a blast and a great opportunity to hang with some dive buddies I don’t see enough. Go grab some watches and go diving (or swimming or dancing or hiking or beer drinking or whatever) with friends. It’s good for you. 🍻
