🧡⚽️🖤⚽️🧡 First match of the week (after this only 1 remaining for the season & then playoffs start) was held this afternoon, Wednesday, October 21st at 3:30pm CT here at home in Ark City by our #6 Nationally Ranked @njcaasoccer DIV I @cowleymsoccer Tigers (8-1-3 / 5-1-2 in KJCCC & in 2nd) when they took on KJCCC foe & #13 Nationally Ranked @njcaa Coffeyville Community College Red Ravens (6-3-5 / 3-3-2 in KJCCC & in 4th). We tied them 1-1 there on 09/26 so will be attempting to go up over them! If you weren't able to be in the bleachers (or are remote) you can always catch the match on the #CSN+ OnDemand livestream below:

https://cowleytigers.com/csn

1st Period:

⚽️ 7:37 Mark (Video #1) - GOAL #1 coming from a Penalty Box Foul Kick by our #4 Sophomore Defender Omar Ocampos (5th of 2026 & 6th Tiger Career goal)

Tigers were able to hold Red Ravens scoreless the 1st period but couldn't find the net again & took the 1-0 lead into the locker room at the half.

2nd Period:

⚽️ 63:49 Mark (Video #2) - GOAL #2 also is a Penalty Box Foul Kick again by our #4 Sophomore Defender Omar Ocampos (6th of 2026 & 7th Tiger Career goal)

Cowley did give up a goal two (2) minutes before scoring their 2nd goal (very lazy/dumb pass back to our GK that allowed Red Ravens to easily get in front of it for a easy goal that never should have happened) but we were able to hold on to get the 2-1 "W" over Coffeyville!

Cowley (now 9-1-3 / 6-1-2 in KJCCC & in 2nd) will head out on the road to Great Bend, KS for their final match of the season on this Saturday, October 24th at 1:00pm CT when they take on KJCCC foe & #4 Nationally Ranked NJCAA Barton Community Cougars (16-1-0 / 8-1-0 in KJCCC & in 1st). Barton is our only lost we had back on 09/30 here at home going down 0-1 so we will be looking for some retribution. You can watch on their livestream here:

https://kjcccsports.net/bartonsports/

Nice win Tigers; we have to play twice that well if we are going to take down Barton; never lose your focus; have to be firing on all cylinders every single second; let's get ready for Saturday & ROAR COWLEY ROAR... 🖤⚽️🧡⚽️🖤
