New EP called Impenetrable is out today! 4 songs recorded over two weekends at @david_klug_studio . Dave Klug recorded, mixed and mastered it and @ryanhizer added synth and bass to the first three songs. Thanks so much to the both of them and for my cousin Mike for his input and presence during the recording 🙏

New OHYO EP “What Sounds Scare You The Most?” out now digitally everywhere that usually happens for you. It feels good and a little dumb to finally have something from our recording sessions that started with @david_klug_studio back in 2019. Enormous thanks of course to Dave for making this sound unbelievable as well as @riffsnspliffs @omelette_dude_fromage @thenewandverywelcome and @beebysill for being part of this along the way. Link in bio for Bandcamp and streaming platforms. Cover photo by @perpetualeyeroll Vinyl and tape information coming soon. Maybe some shows. I will let y’all know if I finish anything else from those sessions, or the self recorded EP I started in the beginning of the pandemic when we couldn’t keep working on these songs. As always, probably won’t happen for another 13 years. How have you been doing though? Has the turd of 2026 started to fully form for you? I started school again to maybe get closer to a bachelor’s degree I started in 2008. That was also the year of the first One Hundred Year Ocean Show. Don’t let me forget to add the lyrics to bandcamp at some point. I have to go now and draw 3 hands on one piece of paper for school. I love you, I have to.

📣 Friends in NY, NJ & PA and beyond: We are incredibly excited to announce that we have work featured in the exhibition, Brooklyn X Pittsburgh: The Industry of Art, co-organized by Associated Artists of Pittsburgh + Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition in Red Hook!

A deep honor to be selected for this group exhibition juried by Eric Shiner, former Director of The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh and current President of Powerhouse Arts in Brooklyn.

Brooklyn X Pittsburgh: The Industry of Art
Opening: Saturday, July 19, 1-6 PM
Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition
481 Van Brunt Street
Brooklyn, NY 11231 🗽

Thrilled to share a glimpse into an ongoing project that brings together people and places we love, and one that embodies a friendship over time, a collaborative and intuitive approach to making, and a shared love for exploring hidden built environments of Western Pennsylvania. We worked across time zones, and although we cannot be there in person on Saturday (Jennifer will be performing with her band The Garment District at the Northside Music Festival and Nicole will be in California), we cannot wait to see the exhibition this summer.

Our photographic collages on blueprint paper and music video are part of our ongoing exploration of a former Nike Missile Center, a Cold War fortification of the Pittsburgh steel industry, which includes a current long-range FAA radar site in Collier Township. The music, video and still images are inspired by the site’s transmissions, frequencies, structural forms and obsolete technologies, both real and imagined. As granddaughters of Pittsburgh steelworkers, we are working with handmade, DIY and analog machines to document and repurpose the abandoned. Sharing some images documenting our process at this site, before it transitions to its new role.

For this exhibition, artists from Pittsburgh, as well as those in Brooklyn who are connected to the region, share works that celebrate the innovation and industry of these two cities and capture the spirit of creativity and making.

THANK YOU🫶
