We are honoured and surprised to be nominated for a Jewish Achiever Award along side such incredible people and organisations.
Thank you to those donors who have helped our artists in their hour of need. There is still a long way to go to repair the damage done to the performing arts industry over the last 18 months and with your continued support, we can continue making a difference🧡

We are thankfully able to slowly get our industry up on its feet again. But remember, Rome wasn't built in a day and it will take time and money to get us back on our feet. We need you, we still need you. We never lost our creativity but just our means of getting it to you.

Although things are starting to open up, the majority of performers have not recovered and are still out of work.

Noah’s Art was started by a group of professional performing artists to help fellow performing artists in need.

We are raising funds to provide food vouchers and food parcels to performing artists, support crew and their families.

We desperately need the public to support this initiative.

Help us support our entertainment industry and it’s performed by making a donation towards food vouchers.

We are one step closer to theatres being open BUT we are not there yet!

Performers, crew, directors, and choreographers want to get back to making magic for audiences. We are not there yet. Theatres are not yet operational, and events and festivals have not yet returned. But with the nee adjusted level 2 rules we are moving in the right direction.

Please help us to keep live performing arts professionals afloat by donating just R100

The Island
Written by: Athol Fugard, John Kani and Winston Ntshona

The Island is a play that follows two men, John and Winston during they're time imprisoned on Robben Island Prison. This play focuses on these two inmates who spend their days performing physical labor and their nights rehearsing for a performance of Sophocles Antigone with the other prisoners as their audience. This play is based on a true story of prisoners staging Antigone.

The play draws parallels between Antigone’s situation and the current situation of the black prisoners at the time the play was created.
