Hey, thank you. For caring even a little. For supporting artists and friends and families. Thanks for leaning into your communities and finding ways to make an effort. It feels like those shared moments with other people are what all of this is about. ❤️

COMING SOON--The IMSS Contemporary Arts Program presents “David Allen: Mastectomy Tattoos and Post-Surgery Healing”
•
Since 2010, David Allen has been tattooing women who have undergone mastectomies. His work uses design principles to draw attention away from the scarring and this process has quickly become a new, viable option to help women take back control. For him and his clients, the tattoo station has become a place of listening, caring, and approaching an area of trauma for revitalization.
•
Opening Reception: Friday, August 31, 2018, 6-8pm. The opening reception is open to the public! It offers free admission to the Museum and the exhibit as well as complimentary refreshments.

What is more badass than breast cancer survivors with gorgeous tattoos on their chests? Maybe ball tattoos on testicular cancer survivors? Tattoo by @DavidAllen #breastcancerawareness #cancersucks

I know this isn't just one tattoo I love by David Allen, but I adore the graphic style of the first tattoo, the gestural style of the skull painting and the soft yet kind of spooky deer skull in poppies! #allentattoo @davidallen
