Huge moment for me to head to the main location of one of the movies that inspired me in my youth to get into film. Looking at everything through the lens in both a way to capture beautiful and emotional images. Hey y’all~ 강진Gangjin started because I needed more creative output and $. Originally started off with OG natural wine Queen @alexisbruxa invited me to collab. This led me to drunk politicin with bagel king @joejoenewyork who kindly invited me to start off at @leosourdough. Then the ever so gracious @winonasbk opened their doors for us. Shortly after my old friend @pheasantnyc hollered at us to do Gangjin style bistro fare which was a blast. Making the rounds in Williamsburg we ended up at Photastic @boleronyc to do a chefs counter. Then my chingones @sobremasanyc opened their doors to the masa temple for us where I got to live my dream of doing sexy tostadas. Last but not least, our last one was at the aguachile temple @ensenadanyc.
I did raise good amount of $ and was planning to open Gangjin as a restaurant but my favorite restaurant group approached me about acquiring my salary job and wanting me to spearhead it, hence why Gangjin is a lot more quiet this year. I truly appreciate all the friends-professionals who uplifted and supported us.
We do have a fun one planned for mid July, stay tuned while we tease you with provocatively delicious photos until then ❤️ -Daniel
