Taking a bite outta this little thing called life

It took me about a month to post, but after 4 years I decided to leave New York City for a new adventure in Los Angeles.

When I sit down to think about what this city and my friends mean to me, it’s difficult to put into words. Mainly because I’ll never have the right words for the amount of love I have for them.

The memories I gathered in those 4 years truly made me feel like the luckiest person in the world. Nights that lasted far too long but brought wonderful amounts of chaos, a group of the kindest and most loving friends one could ask for, and a transformative amount of growth.

After graduating, I have to confess I was still lost in my sexuality, career, and overall place in this world. I questioned how was I going to survive in a city where it’s so easy to feel like a small dot amongst many.

But right away, the people I met made it feel like home. They allowed for me to grow into a proud gay man who finally felt like he had a community.

So I want to send a thank you not only to NYC, but to all of the friends who I met along the way. Thank you for making every single day exciting, for the deep conversations, and for picking me up when I felt like things were quickly falling apart. Thank you for being you and for making this last four years the best of my life so far.

(I’m sorry if u are not pictured please don’t kill me u know I love you) Gay, LGBT, fun, friends, NYC, LA, move, city, goodbye
