I've traveled near and far to train and learn intensively with Icons, Legends, and Extraordinary talents during my Hairdressing journey. Education not only in Hair but also in personal Development has helped me get to the next level of confidence and success with my Craft and Life forward. The most transformational experience was The Sahag Dry Cut Method. Many years ago, I observed John Sahag perform a Dry-Cut presentation. It was more than inspiring. It was incomparable. John's humble persona and flowing dry-cut method instantly elevated my artistic consciousness and spirit. My work then was already evolving from wet to dry cutting. I found Dry Cutting to be more liberating when shaping hair meticulously. I knew intuitively that Dry Haircutting unbridled the imagination with unlimited creativity. For me, crafting hair for a client is about creating from that person's hair story as inspiration to free individuality into a beautifully personalized signature hair shape expression just waiting to emerge. Although I did not have the pleasure to train directly with John Sahag before his untimely passin, I do however connect with his creative spirit, passion, integrity, values, and ideals regarding elevating the art of cutting hair to the highest level of craftsmanship, and the importance of constant learning, improvement, and development of one's craft. However, the next best thing was when I decided to do some training @ John Sahag Workshop NYC. I learned the Sahag Dry Cut Method technique from Sahag's Senior Craftsmen, who were trained under John himself. Through them, I felt John's presence, their respect and admiration for him. Practicing Sahag's revolutionary method ultimately helped take my Haircraft service to a whole new level and significance. For a time in Dallas, TX, I was the only hair salon owner and artist who carried the full Sahag Product line and offered a Dry Hair Cut service exclusively. To date, I haven't used a better hair product than Sahag. My gratitude and appreciation to John Sahag (RIP) the Original Dry Hair Cut Artist and his Extraordinary legacy of talented Craftsmen. May love, peace, success, and prosperity abound. God bless. AA ❤️🙏
