Flip the Switch Roadshow hits the streets of Alimosho, Lagos.

African Climate Stories Community Champions were on-ground to onboard end-users onto the Flip Platform. The goal is to aggregate and connect users directly to financing options, renewable energy products, and solar installers in their area.

At the heart of accelerated renewable energy adoption is a push for energy security and sovereignty, especially across Africa, where 600 million people still live without reliable power.

We also know that African youth are uniquely positioned to confront climate change through their ideas, and enthusiasm. And can create and support solutions that address pressing environmental challenges. These are the people leading the evidence-based design for Flip the Switch Campaign.

Climate action doesn't always start in conference rooms. Sometimes it starts on a street corner, with a young champion and a smartphone, telling and sharing solutions and stories that matter.

To become an African Climate Stories community champion apply here: https://fliptheswitch.africanclimatestories.org/community-champions

Supported by: ZE-Gen - Zero Emission Generators | IKEA Foundation | KiraKira Institute | University of Lagos
