It was a magical @printersrowfest weekend!

I relished the two days of being outside, meeting readers, saying hi to my favorite bookstores, catching up with the @readandrunchicago community, seeing some favorite authors, and being surrounded by so much excitement and energy. We had so many Read & Run Chicago volunteers at our table, it made me so happy to see them making people laugh and feel welcome with us.

Could there be a better weekend for Chicago book lovers?!

And this year, it was extra special to also watch @malissaonthemove host a live panel version of her Writers Who Run column (hosted on @readandruntours’s website) and spend time with @jj2602 of @sweatyponytales, who designed the latest @readandruntours merch (“read local shit” — DM if you want one!).

Huge thank you to @amybdanger for the fantastic programming and including Malissa’s panel.

I’m excited for @printersrowfest! As a co-ambassador for the Chicago chapter of @authorsguild, it was a delight to find out what other members are up to this weekend. I am looking forward to visiting these signings & panels & more! Join us for coffee at 9 am on Sunday if you’d like to gab about what you saw Saturday and/or plan to see Sunday and meet fellow authors. 📚📚📚

One of my dreams was to have my art on the cover of a book. Author @davidjaycollins fulfilled that dream with his book “Single and Cooking.” It is a quietly romantic, character-driven story about second chances that invites readers to believe in the possibility of love at any age. I just finished the cover art for book 2, which will be coming out this summer! To purchase go to https://davidjaycollins.com/products/single-cooking
