Greg & I spent Sunday at the farmers market with Chef David, making fresh Caprese sandwiches using produce sourced right from the market 🍅🥖🌿
When we were first asked to do a cooking demo, our immediate thought was: “There’s no way Chef can leave the restaurant on a Sunday brunch.” But our entire team stepped up, held it down, and pulled off a successful brunch service while we were out in the community.
We’re so glad we said yes. It gave us the chance to introduce ourselves to people we hadn’t met yet, reconnect with old friends, and share what we love doing most, great food made with great ingredients.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by 💚 #texasfarmersmarket #atx #austinfoodie

Parting is such sweet sorrow. It would be impossible to articulate what @drophousedesign has done for me. Aside from making me the fabricator and thinker that I am today, the result of working with such great people has been invaluable. Christian and Matt, thank you for providing so much. The skills I’ve acquired pale in comparison to the confidence I have as an artist and craftsman now. You guys continue to create an atmosphere where creativity can reign and ingenuity forges the way. I look forward to the future for myself and all of you. Forever grateful. Pop Pop.🙂

Heading into the holidays I’m super grateful for our hard charging crew. Could not ask for a better bunch of folks. Feels so good to close shop down for a few days for some well deserved time off over a couple beers. Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving! #austin #shoplife #crew #happythanksgiving
