One of my all-time favorite New Orleans restaurants is definitely @maisarepas!

We got takeout from there last week and I tried something new - the Carnicera Arepa - grilled skirt steak, beans, avocado, and plantains all wrapped in a warm dough. Be sure to ask for it with melted cheese too!

I’ve never had a bad experience at @maisarepas and their food and service is always on par. It’s great for a casual meal or a date night, and they have options that can meet your dietary restrictions too!

This is our Maíz de la rueda! 🇨🇴 Our Colombian-style street corn which gets its name from the fair in Cali called “la rueda”. Street vendors with their portable grills roast this delicious corn to order and mix them with butter and spices.
