When the four-door Wrangler hit the market, it was nothing short of controversial for all the real Jeep heads out there, but here's the thing: it sold like hot cakes. We're talking hundreds of thousands a year. To say it changed the game is an understatement, and we drove one for this week's Trade-In Tuesday. In this week’s episode of Trade-In Tuesday, we got our hands on a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer from @galpinhonda, and the car was really a stark reminder of how cool Mitsubishi used to be 😮‍💨 Sure, this wasn’t an Evo, but it kinda felt like it, and we think that’s something that Mitsubishi could really use now 🤷

The Rivian R1S Quad is amazing off-road for its size thanks to an air suspension that offers incredible geometry. But while the Quad Motor system may sound idea on paper, in reality it’s inferior to an old-school locked system for rock-crawling. (It and the independent suspension setup does offer significant advantages elsewhere, like on the dunes)

*note: not sure why I say the Wrangler doesn’t lift a tire. It does with the front sway bar connected. Very good flex out of the fully independent Rivian tbh.
