You don’t have to have it all together to be used by God.

It’s not based on your resume. Not based on your merit. Not based on your holiness. Not based on your education.

It’s based on a willing heart that says, “I’m in this for Jesus. Jesus called me. Jesus gave me a new name. Jesus gave me a new heart. I’m in this for Him.”

He turned broken fishermen, broken tax collectors and broken outcasts into the people who carried the gospel to the world. He can do the same with you.

Time with @davidperkins__ always leaves me refreshed and more focused on Jesus. Few people so consistently champion and model a life devout to drawing close to Him. His investment in my life and now into @wearerhythm.church is significant!

Deeper together as the family of Christ.

Renaissance ’27 isn’t just a conference.
It’s the family of Christ in the Bay gathering in one room for two days to worship, encounter His presence, build genuine relationships, and experience what God is doing among us.

February 12–13

One family. One room. Two days.

“It’s time.” That’s all I heard from the Holy Spirit while fasting and praying about launching Zeal Conference.

I’m so grateful to God for His voice in our midst and His hand on our church. By faith, we stepped out to launch Z-Con. The goal: re-dig a spiritual well for disciples to come and encounter God over two days of prophetic preaching, extended worship, impartational prayer times, and practical breakout sessions on the prophetic, parenting, and leadership.

The result: God came and rested in every single session. People came hungry and experienced a fresh touch of God. So much inner healing and breakthrough.

Zeal has consumed us.

—————
A massive thank you to my amazing staff and the incredible army of servant hearted volunteers known as our Z-Team who served so selflessly in a myriad of ways: from the platform to the parking lot.

LET’S RUN IT BACK SEPTEMBER 10-11, 2027!!!!

What a night. 🔥

A reminder we’re carrying with us: stay close to the fire. Tend the flame. Keep coming back to Jesus.

There is mercy. There is grace. And He’s not done with you.

Overwhelmed by the beauty & kindness of Jesus. Undone by the freedom that was released this week. For a generation & in my own heart.

Chains were broken off. Identity rewritten & found. Gen-Z & Gen Alpha are hungry to live set apart, to lay down idols & to fix their eyes on Jesus.

@davidperkins__ & @renatajperkins, thank you for believing in, investing in, and living fully committed to seeing a generation boldly pursue God. In 2005 I was a lost teenager girl living in Pennsylvania. I’m not sure how I heard of a youth movement called Desperation all the way in Colorado, but somehow I did. A year later, I discovered Rooftops by Desperation Band, and it stayed on repeat on my iPod Nano. Then came two more albums in 2006 and 2007. Night after night, I would stay up reading my Bible with those songs playing in the background. I was desperate. Hungry to know God for myself. Those songs became the soundtrack to a season where Jesus was drawing me close.

I never could have imagined that 20 years later, I would say “yes” to helping plant a church & @davidperkins__ would be my pastor & my leader. That the worship albums I somehow stumbled upon as a lost teenage girl, would become part of the story God was writing in my life. The songs that fueled my hunger for God were planting seeds for a future I couldn’t yet see. God was at work writing a bigger story & knitting my heart to theirs. Thank you for faithfully contending for a generation for decades! It’s an honor & joy to serve with & be under your covering.

Clearly I was nailing my sins to the cross.

Comrades.

She’s beauty & she’s grace!

My whole heart.😍

May the flame of my heart always be lit.

Lil’ Diet Coke to get us through.

She’s fierce & she’s fun.

So much love for these people!

Hebrews 12:1-2
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.”
