POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

big day yesterday. it’s 70miles from folkestone to lewes. we’d done 10 late the night before. with @louis2good

but it was all big headwinds or big hills or if we were lucky, both!

southern skies on a nearly last leg of the @supernaturefilm bike-packing uk preview tour

leaving hastings

arriving lewes. knackered!

a welcome sign.

arrived at @lewes_depot - what a venue! such a warm welcome

sold out screening and vibrant q&a discussion

tasha hosted the q&a and i was joined by my friend @davidplummerimages - it’s funny - we may never have met if it wasn’t for this film. david is an inspiration. and funny with it

a much needed massive calorie nutrition boost. or as i believe non-cyclists call it: a very tasty decent meal!

the trip from lewes to brighton was a grind. but we made it. screening no2 of the evening was at @dukesatkomedia

david and i shared the q&a again hosted by @fleurbritten. i love doing q&a’s with key filmmaker contributors from the film because it adds dimension. i love hearing their telling of events. our own memories alone are limited so sharing stories is special

two tires bikes lay down after setting up tents that we crawled into at 1am. today is the big day. opening day. cinemas uk and ireland wide. catch one if you can. the BFI IMAX preview today is sold out. but there are at least 5 more BFI IMAX screenings in the coming days … https://whatson.bfi.org.uk/imax/Online/default.asp?BOparam::WScontent::loadArticle::permalink=super-nature-imax

I'm very proud that @davidplummerimages gave me his kind permission to paint Shadow, his dog. She's so full of life and energy and bounce, I loved capturing her crazy face!

This wild land. Spring 26. 🌿
The new @ffern.co fragrance film is out, narrated by @theclairefoy with stunning words from @maxmaxporter — and I had the joy of filming the beavers and their world with @katievickers_camera .

Some nights were frustrating and others rewarding and satisfying but mostly these shoots were full of giggles between filming sessions, thanks to working with an epically grounded team.

Big shout out to the team on the ground: @alicemartineaufilm (producer), @davidplummerimages (wildlife whisperer & fountain of knowledge), @katievickers_camera (camera), @srafinney (master of filming scenics on film), @smgibbo (other wildlife elements), @soundellie (sound) @_charliekey (BTS) and to the @kneppwildland team for having us all.

Proud to have shaped the natural world behind this incredibly fun and creative project from the initial planning to the end result.

Community is at the heart of our film Super Nature. All of the people across the globe who contributed are: Team Super Nature. Some of them came to the World Premiere at BFI London Film Festival in October and we hosted a lunch and ‘studio tour’ at Director Ed Sayers @edinstacam and family’s garden that afternoon. Last night we had a video call catching up with some of the further flung filmmakers who didn’t make it, together with some who did. Both moments reminded us how important it is to come together with like-minded people to do what can sometimes seem impossible, like trying to solve some of the issues of our time. We hope this film can do its little bit to support and inspire individual and collective action.

Ed was inspired by Roger Batteault’s straight 8 films of nature, and he got everyone else involved. So to have Roger, at 86 years old, in Ed’s garden celebrating with Remy (Roger’s son, who made the connection possible) and all of the team, was a fusion of worlds. The nature of Super Nature means everyone had a shared practice, creating on Super 8, but a completely different story to tell.

The original painting for the film poster - created by @_betty__sys_ and @_isla_day aka @bettyandisla - was revealed during the lunch and the posters were up at BFI Southbank later when we all arrived.

Stay tuned for more news about festivals or screenings near you, all being handled by @autlookfilmsales . The film will be in cinemas in the UK & Ireland in 2026, courtesy of BFI Distribution.

Produced by Rebecca Wolff @beccawolff27, Beth Allan @isthisbethallan of @forestofblack

It is the final episode of Hamza’s Hidden Wild Isles. Winter has finally arrived. I get the opportunity to film some incredible wildlife, I get to use some of the latest military equipment (that is now permitted for civilians) whilst catching up with some old friends, and making new ones too. Best of all I manage to film an elusive bird with my best mate @james__shooter in the #Cairngorms.

I hope you enjoy watching the episode as much as I enjoyed filming it. I could not have done it without my hard-working team, and here’s to the next adventure together! So thank you very much, @silverback_films @nationaltrust @theopenuniversity @bootlejack @dmltalent @lauramary

Tune in to BBC One tonight at 6:15pm and you can also catch the rest of the episodes on @bbciplayer
