Thank you @lesleyahu and @piercespledge for sharing your story and advocacy to save children from custody battles. I miss you sweet Pierce and for all of my friends and fellow attorneys, I truly hope that you will get involved to save children. There is a way to safely store your weapons during custody battles and now thanks to the San Francisco police department, You can do it for free. There is also a gun storage map on the website for Pierce‘s pledge. Please help and support this amazing organization and this amazing woman who is carrying on Pierce‘s legacy. 💚💚💚💚💚💚

I had so much fun at the Austin Film Festival that it feels like it didn’t really happen. Fortunately I have photographic evidence. The Cammy & Mike screening went really well. It was amazing to see it in a theater with an audience. We even did a little Q&A afterwards and I did my best to not Bogart the microphone.

I attended a bunch of fun writers panels, met with old friends, made some new friends, and had lots of great BBQ and delicious beverages. It’ll take me a week to recover, so be patient with me I haven’t yet replied to your email or sent you a rent check. @adimverse #cammyandmike @austinfilmfest

Mesmerizing Star Trek fan films before the Wrath of Khan. Thanks for the tribute screening Alamo. The sacrifice for friendship always chokes me up. The boys cuddled with me and held my hand when I cried when Spock died (again). It all reminds me of growing up on Star Trek with my mother and father introducing me to this iconic saga and the visionary artists behind it. Last time I watched this in a theater it was after Leonard Nimoy pasted and his son presented the film at ILM. This movie is a treat of science fiction, good writing, cinematography, and ground breaking visual effects, sound and touching music that still hold up 40 years later. It’s one of the films that inspired me to work in film and be honored to collaborate with my childhood icons. While Nichelle Nichols was so much more demonstrative in this series beyond the matter of science fiction as a powerful black woman parallel in status and character to everyone else on the bridge, I say I salute you, as did MLK. “‘It's a far, far better thing I do than I have ever done before. A far better resting place that I go to than I have ever known.’” #alamodrafthouse #startrek #wrathofkhan #nichellenichols
