Sharing the nighttime view of my latest table design—where Tuscany meets the garden party.

As evening falls, the setting takes on an entirely different character. Lace-covered apples are dressed for the occasion, candlelight softens the table, and layers of texture create something elegant, elevated, and quietly poetic. Lighting is always an essential part of my designs—it has the ability to transform a space, creating warmth, intimacy, and an atmosphere that immediately feels inviting.

At first glance, it’s all romance. Look a little closer, and the unexpected details begin to reveal themselves. I designed and custom-made the embroidered napkins, each with its own cheeky profanity—an irreverent contrast to the elegance of the table, intended to spark conversation, laughter, and a very good time. You have to know your audience, and I knew mine would appreciate the surprise.

For me, the most memorable spaces reveal themselves slowly. There should always be another detail to discover, while every element feels considered and as though it has always belonged. Nothing is there by chance.

And perhaps that’s my favorite part: none of it is permanent. When the evening ends, the market lights come down, the lanterns return to storage, the trees and wine barrels are removed, the table is broken down, and the chairs and heaters return to the rental company. By morning, the transformation is gone.

For one night, though, it all feels completely at home—as if it had always been there.

There are tables you set, and there are tables that transport you.

I’m so excited to finally share these beautifully captured images from an evening inspired by the romance of Tuscany. Fresh from my travels, I wanted to transport my guests to Italy—to create, for a few magical hours, our own little corner of Tuscany in a late-summer garden.

Treasures carried home were woven throughout the table: lush florals, glowing green glass votives, sculptural artisan candles, and delicate Jordan candy almond flowers tucked unexpectedly into the arrangements.

Even the apples got dressed for dinner—individually wrapped in lace to bring another layer of texture, artistry, dimension, and beauty to the table.

But beauty should never take itself too seriously.

Among all that refinement, napkins embroidered in delicate script revealed decidedly indelicate phrases—a little profanity at every place setting. From afar, perfectly elegant. Up close? Entirely unexpected. As each guest discovered theirs, the table filled with laughter and conversation. You have to know your audience—and I knew mine would enjoy a little mischief alongside the beauty.

Garden party meets Tuscany: romantic, layered, a touch irreverent, and entirely intentional.

And somehow, even the weather understood the assignment. Just six hours after the last guest departed, the skies opened—as if summer had graciously waited for us to finish the party before saying goodbye.

I was too busy designing, planning, hosting—and obsessing over every last detail—to take much video myself. So this Reel is a collection of moments captured through my guests’ eyes, which somehow makes it even more special . 🤍

For me, it’s never just about setting the table. I curate the entire space so everything feels as though it has always belonged there.

And then come the layers… and the layers within the layers.

Look closely. Jordan almond candy flowers tucked among the florals, glass candleholders and candles hand-carried back from Italy, and green apples wrapped in lace. Every detail considered.

Well… almost nothing screaming for attention. 😉

Then there were the napkins. 😈
Each custom embroidered with a different phrase I designed, irreverent and completely unexpected against all that elegance. I knew my audience!

Because the best tables are beautiful without taking themselves too seriously. They invite you in, make you linger—and give you something new to discover.

At the end of the evening, it all disappears.

Where heritage meets modernity.

This table was designed around the beauty of juxtaposition—ancient vessels alongside contemporary details, sculptural florals floating overhead, and layers of texture that invite guests to linger a little longer.

I love creating spaces that feel curated rather than decorated, where every element has purpose and every piece tells a story. The antique vessels bring history and soul, while clean lines and modern forms keep the design fresh and unexpected.

For me, a table is more than a setting for a meal. It’s an experience, a conversation starter, and an opportunity to create something memorable for the people gathered around it.

Grateful to @berbereimports for providing the extraordinary antique vessels that brought depth, character, and timeless beauty to this design.

A study in contrasts.

Old-world vessels layered with modern forms. Sculptural blooms suspended above the table like an installation. Crisp linens, contemporary silhouettes, and collected pieces curated to create a dining experience that feels both timeless and unexpected.

A room can hold beauty. A table can create it. For me, entertaining is an art form—and the table is where the masterpiece begins.

I felt like the pasta candelabras deserved a moment of their own rather than being tucked into a carousel of table details. When I first imagined hand-making them, I worried they might feel more like a kindergarten project — but my instinct kept pulling me toward sculpture, texture, and artful form. So I trusted the vision.

What I thought would be a quick project became an incredibly labor-intensive process, with each candelabra taking days to complete by hand. In the end, they became one of my favorite elements from this January table design — an unexpected way to introduce modern art, texture, and dimension while keeping the table elevated, chic, and intentionally layered. A conversation piece.

Design, to me, is always about creating moments that surprise people while still feeling refined. And these did exactly that.

Dolce & Gabbana meets the Beverly Hills Hotel 🌿🤎

An intentionally layered tablescape where lush greens, rich browns, and hints of rusty burgundy come together in effortless harmony—refined yet warmly inviting, with a subtle nod to Dolce & Gabbana’s signature aesthetic. Nothing feels plain or expected, and layers of color, texture, and detail create a composition that is both expressive and balanced.

A custom leaf-patterned tablecloth sets the foundation, subtly nodding to the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel aesthetic and grounding the entire design in a rich, botanical narrative.

Umbrellas suspended unexpectedly upside down over the tablescape, anchor the space with subtle drama, while thoughtful micro moments bring softness and movement throughout. Magnolia leaves are placed with intention—on the table, arranged on select chairs, and nestled beside green glass candle holders from @vistaalegre_us @vistaalegreofficial casting a warm ambient glow and adding an organic, sculptural touch that softens the overall look.

A curated mix of orchid arrangements—varied rather than uniform—add dimension, sophistication, and visual interest while maintaining a cohesive, elevated presentation.

Natural wood accents, including wood salt and pepper cellars, root the design. Every element feels thoughtfully considered yet relaxed—creating a setting that invites guests to linger and take it all in.

Let’s style this table together🤍

Grandma chic, warmly reimagined. Pasta becomes sculpture — bow ties and penne hand-placed into candelabras, transforming the familiar into something beautifully unexpected. Playful in concept, yet executed with intention and elegance.

Fringe adds movement. Vintage doilies and heirloom silver bring soul. Luminous glassware and a single calla lily at each place setting keep it refined and sculptural. Soft white draping floats above, tying it all together with quiet elegance.

Nostalgic. Artful. Inviting — and undeniably elegant.

A celebration of life is an opportunity to honor a loved one in a way that reflects the beauty, warmth, and meaning they brought into the world. It was deeply important to me to give my Father-in-law a peaceful, loving, and truly beautiful exit — one that was organic, welcoming, and full of heart. Curating beautiful meaningful spaces with love, for family and friends, is my love language. My intention was to create an atmosphere that felt effortlessly beautiful, as though every detail had always belonged exactly where it was, allowing guests to feel comforted wherever their eyes landed.

The day was thoughtfully designed around all the things he loved most. Floral arrangements were created with edible fruits, a meaningful touch inspired by centerpieces he always enjoyed. The menu featured all his favorite foods to remind us of him, lovingly prepared for family and friends to share together. The celebration took place in a vineyard that carries his name — a place deeply connected to his legacy — with wine named after him reflecting the passion and joy he brought to life.

What began as an empty lot was transformed into a serene and inviting setting, intentionally designed to draw the eye toward the vast mountains beyond and the quiet beauty of the surrounding landscape. Tall olive branches rose gracefully from wine barrels, wild arrangements filled stone vessels, and white umbrellas in the ceremony space offered gentle shade beneath the open sky. Every detail was chosen to evoke peace, warmth, and heartfelt connection — a living tribute to a man whose presence, generosity, and spirit will forever remain with those who loved him.

Through his kindness, humor, and unwavering presence, Ed taught us that simply showing up is the greatest gift we can give one another.
