It’s Agatha Christie’s birthday today, so no finer day to share that Michael Cusick (@michaelacusick) has joined the company of Agatha Christie’s Witness For The Prosecution (@witnessplayldn) now entering its landmark 10th year at London’s County Hall. Michael plays Inspector Hearn and also covers the role of defence barrister Sir Wilfrid Robarts QC.

Sometimes you agree to a job without thinking too much. This was one. I had a good feeling about it. It’s been months in the planning and last week we had six days on set. You never really know how people will gel or how the chemistry will work. This was alchemy at its best. The on screen and off screen team worked really well which will no doubt come across in the final film. Six days to film a feature length film is a real challenge. But we did it- just. The actors who agreed to take part in this picture were just great to spend time with. The behind camera crew were a mix of young and like me much older - everyone brought something to the production. Not everyone is in this picture there are many more who made it happen. I counted almost 30 involved during the week. Great work looking forward now to the next stage - onwards - Romance is Dead - long live romance
