Title -The Healed Man

What if healing was never the day a man stopped hurting, but the day he learned to carry his pain without making it someone else’s burden?

This world is home to broken men wearing their wounds like tailored suits, mistaking silence for strength, and calling survival a life.

Some have buried their tenderness so deeply that even love must arrive with a shovel. Others have learned to be needed because they were never taught how to be held.

Yet beneath the armour, the boy they once were is still waiting to be told that softness is not weakness, and tears do not diminish the ocean.

The healed man is not a monument to a battle he finally won, but a garden learning to grow around its ruins.

He still has mornings when yesterday comes knocking, but now he listens instead of letting the past speak through his anger.

For healing is not a destination, but the daily practice of returning to oneself learning to pause where once he destroyed, to apologise without shrinking, and to love without making another soul responsible for the wars within him.

Perhaps our greatest failure is teaching boys to conquer mountains before teaching them what to do with the weight upon their chests.

Still, there is hope in the man who questions what he was taught, who breaks the cycle before passing it on, who chooses to become unfamiliar with the pain he once called home.

He is not finished. He is becoming. Some days with grace, others with trembling hands, but always with the courage to begin again.

For perhaps a man’s greatest triumph is not proving he was never broken, but discovering that his brokenness need not have the final word.

And if a man spends his life learning to meet himself with compassion, was he ever meant to arrive or is the becoming itself the healing…

VEHICLE. The Race to Manhattan 🏁

I am beyond grateful to have been given the space to expand upon the VEHICLE. franchise. From Brooklyn to Manhattan, this series is always moving, always becoming.

Thank you to @wnyunionsquare for allowing this work to enhance the already brilliantly crafted architecture of the Living Room Cafe. I am honored to know that the potential of this work has been recognized and embraced!

Thank you tremendously to those who attended the exhibition and continue to remain curious about VEHICLE.’s evolution.

Thank you to my curator over at @guud.stu for yet again sharing this moment with me and executing another showcase of this work that greatly honors its weight and deliberateness.

This marks VEHICLE.’s 5th exhibition in the span of 5 months.
Until we race again. ❤️

big shout out @ufo.global for capturing such coooolllll photos!!
