Fiddler on the Roof

this show came into my life during such a crazy season of change (including my own wedding lol) and somewhere in the middle of it all, i was reminded that this is what i love and need to be doing. there’s something so special about coming together to tell a story bigger than ourselves.
Fiddler reminds us of the importance of family, community, and holding onto hope, especially when the world feels uncertain. i’m so grateful to have been a part of this story, but even more honored to be able to be along side all the people who brought Anatevka to life. in a season when so much of my life was changing, this community gave me so much more than words can describe, and i’ll carry that with me long after the curtain comes down🤍

Oops, I accidentally fell in love...

I remember how badly I wanted to be in just one show and all these years later, I can say I was part of 10!

The acknowledgment. One of the best and most important parts of bows. It's so special to recognize all the hard work behind the scenes that goes into a production, work that the audience rarely sees...because if the job is done well, they won't notice.

To the band, spotlight operators, sound technicians, interpreters, front of house, crew, stage managers, props masters and mistresses, costume shop, scene shop, creative team, and everyone else involved in making the magic happen: we see you and we thank you 💙

Every night was a party and you all were the life! I loved all of the moments we shared. No it wasn't Broadway, but it sure was a lot of fun! 🍻

❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

This was a hard one to say goodbye to. Nothing beats doing the thing you love most in the entire world, especially in your favorite place, with your favorite people. Our director said no tears until final curtain, but I definitely did not keep it together when the lights went out on this one. I love tap dancing so much.

One of the absolute best times in my entire life was this moment every night.

Getting to finally do a show with you @davidweaverperez was such a blast. Your big energy and positive attitude were infectious. I appreciate all the kind words, wisdom, and big hugs you provided behind the scenes. You are a 10/10 performer and person.

@stina13 dancing with again was so much fun! I already miss pounding our thighs violently to wake them up, your fist bumps, the crazy-eyed smiles we sometimes exchanged, T-Rex arms, and the adrenaline of the insane quick change. Thanks for being the ketchup to my mustard.

The joy was real ✨

This has been an unreal experience. I am so grateful to the warm and welcoming community of Oahu theatre that made me feel like I have a new home, even amidst the hard times of being a military spouse. To all who came out to speak with me after performances, your kind words are ones I’ll carry and cherish forever. I feel aloha in every corner of this community.

I’m going to miss Fanny Brice so much. I put absolutely everything I had into her. New emotions surfaced every day- going through her arc is one of the most empowering and heartbreaking things I’ve ever done. If you take nothing else from the show, don’t let anyone rain on your parade.

To quote someone quoting Funny Girl, “You can’t take an audience home with you”—but in a way, the theatre has become our second home 🩵

And yes, I stole that from @p.alika.808 because it was just too good 😂

I’m so grateful for the community I’ve found through @diamondheadtheatre I love you all, and through this experience, I’ve discovered something I truly enjoy 💕
