Deuteronomy 6:6-7

They’re learned with dirt on your boots, a dog by your side, and the good Lord’s creation all around you.
The land may get passed down. The memories may fade. But the faith we plant in our children can carry on for generations.

Romans 12:9

God calls us to cling to what is good. To choose grace over grudges, humility over pride, and love over everything that divides us. Titus 1: 15-16
“To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their minds and their consciences are defiled. They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.” October reminds us, nothing stays the same forever.
Leaves turn. The air gets colder. Old things fall away so the next season can come.
Maybe that’s a lesson for us, too.
Anybody can say they know God. The real question is whether our lives back it up: in our homes, our work, and the choices we make when no one’s around.
Some things aren’t meant to follow us into the next season.
Let ’em fall.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Having faith in God doesn’t mean the storm isn’t coming.
Hard times are going to come. There are going to be days where you don’t understand what God is doing, where the plan doesn’t make sense, and where it feels like you’re getting hit from every direction.
But God never said you’d have to weather it alone.
He’s right there in it with you.
Sometimes faith is simply putting your head down, trusting that God knows where He’s leading you, and taking the next step, even when you can’t see very far ahead.
The storm doesn’t mean God left you.

Our lives have purpose when they point others to Jesus. Finish the course. Proclaim His grace. Make your life count for the Kingdom.
