✨Yesterday, I had the pleasure of spending a day at the Miami Shores Country Club, volunteering for the Dominican Golf Association of Miami’s 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament. The event’s aim was to raise funds for the Latinos United in Action Center, a nonprofit founded by Dr. Juana Amada Vargas in 2000, which provides educational programs and community services to children and adults from diverse backgrounds in Allapattah and nearby communities. The day was a heartwarming experience, filled with community spirit and generosity. Volunteers, sponsors, and golf enthusiasts came together to support a great cause. The tournament showcased both skill and sportsmanship, but what truly stood out was the sense of unity for a common purpose. Dr. Vargas’s vision was evident throughout the event. The funds raised will help the Latinos United in Action Center continue its essential work. As a volunteer, I was deeply moved by the sense of purpose and unity. It was a reminder that small acts of kindness can create a big impact in our community. In the end, this event was a heartwarming reminder that giving back and coming together for a common cause can create positive change. It was a day well spent, and it highlighted the difference we can make through our collective efforts. Para Los Amantes del voleibol. Qué pena que no pude ponerlo más pequeño para que puedan leer bien las oraciones, pero el que sabe de este maravilloso deporte sabe bien lo que dice....
