What most people see is the highlight reel. What they don’t see are the countless moving pieces behind it. One of my favorite parts of what I do isn’t just creating content-it’s building and leading a team that can tell the story of an event from every angle. From developing the content strategy before race weekend, coordinating multiple creators, capturing the moments that matter, editing, and managing the social media in real time... it’s about bringing an event to life long before and after the finish line. This weekend, I had the privilege of doing exactly that for one of my favorite clients, DelMo Elite Events @delmoeliteevents , at one of my all time favorite events the Women’s Philadelphia Triathlon. Every athlete has such a unique story. And these women inspire me every year to be a better version of myself for the upcoming episode. My job is making sure those moments don’t just live for one weekend-they become content that inspires the next person to not only register, but to break the barrier and accomplish things they never thought imaginable. This week has been a whirlwind of capturing moments, creating content, editing, posting, engaging, strategizing, responding, posting again, and being glued to my phone for what feels like a week straight. So for those who wonder what I do… there you have it. 😂 I do indeed work. Sometimes a little too hard. But the truth is, when you genuinely love what you do, it rarely feels like work. It feels like creating a purposeful message most times. I’m incredibly proud of the creatives I bring together for each project—talented people I trust to help execute a vision and elevate it beyond what one person could do alone. Watching that collaboration come to life and being able to edit everyone’s captures is one of my things. And if I’m being honest, I’m proud of myself too. Proud of the risks I’ve taken. Proud of the long hours. Proud of the relationships I’ve built. Proud of the results I’ve delivered… Proud of blocking out peoples limiting beliefs and negative connotation’s … And proud that what started as a passion has continued to grow into something bigger than I ever imagined. Most of all, I’m grateful. Grateful for every client who trusts me with their brand. Grateful for every referral. Grateful for every opportunity to create something meaningful. With that, I’m excited to share that Meraki Creative is growing and officially taking on new clients for content creation and monthly social media management. The real MVPs of race day don’t wear bib numbers… As we prepare for race season just know that behind every finish line is an army of humans making it happen. The crew setting up before sunrise. The voices on the mic. The volunteers checking people in and handing out water. The team capturing moments, editing and sharing in real time. I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to Widener University to further my academic and athletic career! I am so beyond grateful for the opportunity given to me to be a part of such an amazing team with amazing people!! I want to say how thankful I am for my current coaches, Coach D, Coach Cwik, and Coach Wiley! (Plus Mr. Wenker and the Athletic Department) I also want to say how thankful I am for Coach Yankovich and the rest of the athletic department and swimming staff at Widener for giving me such an amazing opportunity! AND some of the sweet and welcoming people I met on my visit to the college!! Lastly I want to express my gratitude for my dad, sister, and everyone else who has helped me along with my journey to the now. Loving someone’s good parts is easy. Falling in love with all parts, the good the bad and the ugly and still seeing them for the beautiful soul they are.
