A little pinch-me moment 🥹

I’ve always dreamed of building something of my own. Having my own business, hosting my own events and bringing people together through something I’m passionate about.
And here I am, actually doing it!!
Hosting my very first creative shoot, The Black Horse Collective, was such a special moment for me.

I’m just a mum, figuring it all out as I go, chasing my dreams and giving things a go even when they’re a little scary.
There’s still so much I want to achieve, but moments like these remind me how far I’ve already come.

Just a mum with a camera, a love for horses and a whole lot of dreams. 🤎

Home with our baby boy, Hugo 🧿🩵

When the sun doesn’t show up… we create it. ☀️
Our Melbourne maternity & motherhood workshop was a little gloomy — no direct sunlight in the beautiful hotel room I wanted to work with.
So we created our own.
We placed a Godox SL300III continuous light on the covered balcony and directed it through the window and curtains, creating that beautiful soft sunshine effect.

The result? We were all amazed by what we created.

This is what I love about workshops — experimenting with light, solving problems and discovering what’s possible together.

5 years of our baby girl 🎈the perfect mix of sass and sunshine

When @dawnstudio___ reached out to capture some at home motherhood shots I was so excited to have some beautiful memories created, but then crept in some anxiety “omg my body is not ready for this” and “what if the photos turn out to be really bad of me”

There are so many times when I look in the mirror and struggle with my new normal- the stretch marks, the loose skin, the uneven boobs and the added weight. But then there are moments like this, when I look back on these photos and bring myself back to reality.

I grew this boy from scratch. I kept him healthy and safe, and now I get to continue to nourish him, love him and care for him.

Women are incredible. The physical sacrifices, the sleepless nights, the mental load- we do it all for them, and we would choose to do it over and over again.

It’s the most powerful, brave and selfless thing I’ve ever seen my body do, and I’m so incredibly proud to be his home. 🤍
