Writer/director Kuan Wei Yu (@daydreamerwayne) recently attended @lovewinsfilms festival in New York representing Happy Rain Kloud and his LGBT short film “I Don’t.”

Happy Rain Kloud Productions deeply appreciate the opportunity and privilege to screen the short film in-person for the first time.

Good bye CSUN! It was one of the best times of my life! 🎓🎉

I come from a small city in China where there used to be almost no film industry. I was almost the only student in my school studying film production. And now, I've made so many great friends at CSUN! We make films together and bring stories to life. I discovered my passion for film sound-mixing in here! Thank you CSUN! Thank you to each and every one of my friends! And I wish us all the best for the future.

This post is suuuper overdue but I’d thought it would be a good time to release after all the chaos of senior thesis productions has finally winded down.

As we get closer and closer to picture lock for @unionavenuefilm i’m looking back and reflecting on how much I learned as a DP from creating this wonderful project.

And I couldn’t have done it without an amazing camera/g&e crew beside me 100% of the way. If I haven’t already thanked you in person, I extend my thanks once again. As well as my right hand partner in crime director @gc_rated , we went through so much in creating the artistic vision you wanted for this and I think it paid off for sure.

Will have some screenshots posted from the film once its color graded and ready to be shown to the world soon!
