SUNDAYS ARE FOR BOOK CLUB! 📚✨
A big thank you to all the ladies who joined us for our September book club discussion! 🫶🏾 There’s nothing like good books, great conversation, and a room full of women sharing their perspectives. 🤎

Where the Wildflowers Grow was a deeply moving, emotional, and lyrical read that we truly enjoyed!

Our average rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (4.25/5)

Birdy, Eden, Mary, Jane, Harrison, & Carter had ALOT going in dis book! The fact that we had to start bookclub with an outline of what even happened is really telling!

Nevertheless we made it through!

Thank you to @floradayleaf for letting me tag along with her yesterday for @thenmaam Women In Harmony event. She had some of her planters throughout!

I walked away from the event with quite a few jewels and nuggets.

My favorite quote came from @morgandebaun (Blavity, Afrotech) after she asked, what does your calendar look like… “Plan for who you are becoming and build intention around it… Did you do what you said you would do?” Such a timely reminder that I needed to hear! Major bonus being able to walk away with a copy of Morgan’s book.

Being able to see @michellewilliams was a treat. Her conversation on mental health is needed.

Lastly, hearing @fyutch and his daughter was a breath of fresh air. Simply beautiful to see and hear.
