Life gives you what you need, not what you want.

When I need to learn, I get a lesson.
When I need to grow, I get a challenge.
When I need to rest, I get a slow season.
When I need to succeed, I get an opportunity.

And lately I’ve had a lot of opportunities.

@through_mariana said it perfectly earlier this week, but I too wanted to chime in about what it truly means to collaborate vs doing free work.

To me, collaboration means we both bring value, effort, and vision to the table to bring something great to life together 🤝

I love collaboration, and am incredibly happy to get to do it with other artists. However, it is not a collaboration when one is looking for my time and expertise, without compensation or fair exchange.

Knowing your worth, means knowing the difference ✨

Thankful to always have @aili_models @velvetantstudio @daylightstudiios to collaborate with (plus all others who helped bring this particular shot to life)
