I've spent the last few years thinking about a simple question: **Why is it so easy to get attention online, but so hard to find genuine connection?** We have endless ways to post, scroll, react, and message. Yet many of us still feel like we're talking *around* each other instead of *with* each other. That's what this account is about. The Affinity Project is where I'll share observations, essays, and ideas about friendship, loneliness, vulnerability, one-on-one conversation, and the design of the internet itself. I'm also building **Dayoff**, a small experiment inspired by these ideas—but this account isn't about product updates. It's about exploring the problem first. If you've ever felt like social media rewards performance more than authenticity, I think you'll feel at home here. My first essay is linked in the bio. Welcome.
