Thought I should mush together some of the silly videos we've taken while making my lil film, had a lot of fun using real life prosthetics. And got to work with the iconic @bill_hunt_studio_horror_art and amazing makeup artist @annamaemakeup. Much more in the vaults to share!

A little clip workshopping Koaua into the music of our film with @te__manu .

The musical score is the emotional backbone of He Kōrihi.
Composed by the one and only @pacificheightsnz

When you watch and listen, you’ll know why.

Biggest love to every wonderful human that helped us make this unhinged little short, and the biggest of thank you’s to the weapon that is @_megrobinson for supporting my chaotic ideas and to @bayleybp for brining them to life.

We are so excited to share our film, He Kōrihi - Birdsong, with the world✨🎥 which is now online in New Zealand (link in bio).

This kaupapa (project) is dear to my heart as it is the first ever narrative film captured on Kapiti Island - a national and cultural taonga (treasure).
Both myself and my cousin, Director & Writer @jordilegit whakapapa to Kapiti Island, so to bring our stories home to our motu (island) was both an honor and privilege, especially with the support of our Iwi, Ngati Toa Rangatira.

Here’s to more Māori stories on our screens📺✨🪶

A solid moment of appreciation to our DOP & Cinematographer @benmikha for capturing the beauty that you seen on screen for He Kōrihi✨

I couldn’t have done this without my closest, and fellow Producer @robkipawilliams

And a final thank you to the Day Ones rōpu for believing in us and helping us bring our story to life @dayone_nz

Enjoy, whanaunga✨🎥
