All the Glory to Jesus 🤍
As I wrap up year 3 I want to reflect! Monday night I was so humbled and honored to receive the leadership award, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Seriously couldn’t lead this team without Jesus being apart of this role with me. I didn’t give a speech, but I want to say it here.
First, I want to thank my amazing coaches. This program would be nothing without you, and I give you so much credit. Thank you for trusting me and honoring me with an award that means so much.
I also want to thank Omaha Athletics. This season has been so special, and meeting new people who quickly became family has meant everything. Cheering you all on has truly been one of the most rewarding parts of being a Maverick.
To my teammates, you are my real cheerleaders. You show what it means to give your all with blood, sweat, tears, and even injuries. You are some of the most talented people I know, and I couldn’t have done this season without you.
Last but not least, my family and friends, thank you for always supporting me and helping me get to where I am today. And most importantly, Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. He placed this dream on my heart and gave me gifts I could never take credit for. All the glory goes to Him.
This night was so special because it reminded me how much Omaha has shaped me into who I am today and how much this place means to me. I’m so grateful for everything this program has accomplished.
I still can’t believe I’m heading into year 4 with this amazing team!!
Thank you again and Go Mavs 🥰❤️‍🩹
