I just realized that today, October 12th, marks ONE MONTH of being open at our new home on Upper Main!!! I could not be happier to be here or more thrilled at the love and support we’ve received since moving. A sweet customer told me this weekend that she loves coming to The Pantry because she can tell that I really love what I do, and it’s so true. Small biz owners know the struggle of never ever being able to fully clock out of work, and these past couple months I have been working all day every day to make this transition a reality. The daily work is probably not stopping anytime soon (january rest, I’m coming for you!) but it’s incredibly rewarding to truly enjoy (mostly) the labor of running this business. I could have never done this without @dayhalp, who has been working alongside me in the shop and also taking care of most things in the house while I’m glued to the computer while also setting up a brand new business, @dayscallicoon. Dayna—I would choose this life with you every time. Thank you so much for everything. I also could have never done this without my family and friends and coworkers—@vintage__maroc and @jdee845 my building co-conspirators and everything doers, every single person who helped us move or aided in this transition (way too many lovely people to tag, and hopefully a moving week recap video coming later), and of course Liz & Tara & Suzie & Danna who are the best Pantry team imaginable. It takes a village and I love this one deeply! Also a huge shoutout to @jillcsmithphotographybrands for some beautiful shop photos that I just got back from our shoot last week that provided me a very easy photo for this very impromptu but important post. Cannot wait to share more of Jill’s work with you all. Anyway, if you made it this far—here’s to many many more months here. Thanks for being along for the ride ❤️

Yesterday was one of those pretty perfect days in town. Art hung throughout the shop from @callicoon_artwalk, the very first @dayscallicoon grab & go selling out nearly instantly, lots of joy, lines at both counters (@countyroadbakery and myself) all day, a live performance from @therealramonajan, art purchases, smiling faces, etc etc etc. While today is bound to be rainy, we’ll be sure to have the same good energy, good eats, hot coffee, solid grocery selection, and so much more for you.
