Western Wall - Wailing Wall - ancient retaining wall from the 2nd temple built by King Herod, standing during Jesus time. Jesus told His disciples, not one stone would be left upon another, and Jesus words came true in 70 AD when the Romans crushed Jerusalem and literally threw every stone of the temple down (you can still see some of these massive stones laying on the ground below the temple mound. There have been only 2 Jewish temples EVER! 1st built King Solomon and 2nd built by Herod. I first visited this wall in 1983 on my college study (almost got arrested but that’s a different story) and it still holds a timeless ancient sense of importance and reverence to the One True God! 🙏🏻 #readthroughthebible #advantagemodelsandtalent #advantagemodel #eagleswingstravel @robertrstearns @eagleswings.travel @marioningegneri @daytopray @sheleadsamerica @sheleadstennessee

Day 6: We walked through the Old City to the place King David is supposedly buried. Then into the UPPER ROOM. The Spirit is still here. Then back to the Tower of David which was standing 2,000 years ago during Jesus day for the Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem event. This is the 24th year of this global prayer event and I was honored to be here in Jerusalem for it! #readthroughthebible #advantagemodelsandtalent #advantagemodel #eagleswingstravel @robertrstearns @eagleswings.travel @sheleadstennessee @sheleadsamerica @daytopray

Day 5-Wow! Bethlehem to Garden of Gethsemane then to King David’s Tower, built by Harod the Great (standing during Jesus time) for @awakejerusalem. What a roller coaster day of Christmas Joy in the place the angels appeared to the shepherds ( we had lunch with the mayor of Bethlehem) To heaviness and grief pondering Jesus sweating blood in the garden before his arrest and crucifixion. Then Joy immeasurable as we praised and worshiped Jesus at the 2,000+ yr old Tower of David and ramparts built by King Harod with a replica of Solomon’s temple. #readthroughthebible #advantagemodelsandtalent #eagleswingstravel @robertrstearns @marti_thurman @eagleswings.travel @sheleadsamerica @sheleadstennessee @awakejerusalem @daytopray

Day 4: Coffee with view of sunrise over the Sea of Galilee. Bus ride up to Jerusalem, the city that Jesus wept over. Saw the ancient buildings of Herod the Great (yep he had John the Baptist beheaded, was part of the illegal trail and crucifixion of Jesus) worshipped with 550 believers from 51 nations in the oldest Protestant church in the Middle East. Then we took up our spiritual weapons and walked along the top of the ancient ramparts surrounding Jerusalem. Reading scripture out loud, declaring God’s Word and blowing the shofar (not me because I just can’t get it to sound right ha) The day ended with an amazing end of Sukkot and Shabbot meal lead by a local rabbi. #readthroughthebible #advantagemodelsandtalent #advantagemodel #eagleswingstravel @robertrstearns

ISRAEL PILGRIMAGE | DAY 2 🇮🇱❤️
Today began among the ancient stones of Caesarea, where we worshiped in a place that has witnessed the rise and fall of kingdoms and empires.

Kingdoms rise and fall.
But the Gospel keeps moving.

And this was only the beginning of a day that would take me from seeing the world of the Bible to experiencing something much more personal.

Somewhere along the way came another unforgettable Holy Land experience—the famous St. Peter’s Fish Special. 🐟

Did Jesus eat fish like this? Quite possibly.

Did His lunch arrive at the table staring back at Him?

I have questions. 😂🤢

And then we arrived at Magdala.

We worshiped. I listened as Liz Doyle sang. And then we entered a place appropriately called The Encounter.

Beneath that extraordinary image of the woman reaching through the crowd toward the garment of Jesus, Pastors Marion and Scott Ingegneri led us through a beautiful and deeply meaningful empowerment service.

And something shifted for me.

I realized again that I did not travel thousands of miles simply to learn more about Jesus.

I came to encounter Him.

As State Director of She Leads Kentucky, part of She Leads America and She Leads the Nations, being at Magdala carried special meaning for me. Standing in a place that so powerfully remembers women whose lives were transformed through encounters with Jesus reminded me again of the calling to encourage and equip women to live boldly in the purpose God has given them.

I am profoundly grateful to Eagles’ Wings and Bishop Robert Stearns for this extraordinary pilgrimage—not simply for bringing us to the places of the Bible, but for creating opportunities for worship, prayer and encounters with God along the way.

And as we prepare to join believers from around the world for the Global Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem, my prayer is becoming even simpler: Lord, don’t let me merely visit the Holy Land.
Let this journey change me. ✝️💜#WOTW2026 #eagleswingstravel
