The Process.

Each person in these photos and beyond mean so much to me. The show is only the show because of the people who said yes. The people who trusted my crazy, had faith in the story and had love for each other were my driving force this summer as my emotions and stressors ran the gamut. New musicals are HARD but they are my favorite because of the amazing people that love to work on them. Being a female director and composer is HARD but it’s my favorite when in a room filled with love, collaboration and mutual respect.

Thank you for allowing me to be in this room and feel supported every step along the way. I could write pages about each of you, but I already did that on opening and closing so let’s keep that between us 💛

Ugh I miss you guys already! Same time next week?

The Show.

Oh to be so lucky to love something this much. I can’t believe we opened, extended and closed Forget I Said Anything Off Broadway. This show has been a huge piece of me for 8 years, honestly probably longer. Getting to see it come to life in such a loving, supportive and beautiful way has been a dream come true. To my cast and team, thank you thank you thank you. Thank you for trusting me and giving me the space in the room to lead and learn from each of you every day for the past 3 months. I can’t wait for what comes next… here’s to more rehearsals? #offbroadway #musical

Oh writing this one is HARD. I first of all want to say I’m so lucky to have been surrounded by these people all summer. Leaving them was so hard and I am so lucky to have people that make saying “see ya later” so tough. This summer @sammirose_r took a chance on me and I couldn’t thank her enough and I’m so happy to have been a part of this lovely show. A completely sung through show, a true understudy experience, and lifelong friends. There are too many words to express my gratitude for each and every person involved on this process and if I list them I will cry so I won’t right now but just know the love is eternal :)
Asher- I loved portraying you and spending the past few months giggling in your shoes🩷
I guess you could say we all come and go😜

Our summer off-bway has come to a close!

It has been a privilege to work with a cast and crew so kind and brilliant. There was no better way to end the run than by partying with them and our superb musicians for the final exit music.
