🇫🇷 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships Nice

12th Age Group, 22nd overall women 🥹

Definitely not a result I would have predicted a couple of weeks ago💫

I really enjoyed this race from the start 🌊 A crystal-clear swim, followed by a bike course I completely fell in love with — especially the climbs and descents ⛰️🚴‍♀️The occasional slalom through traffic was just part of the game😅 The run felt great until halfway… and then the heat had other plans☀️🥵 Very happy when that finish line finally came into view! 🤩

Turns out, sometimes you really just have to wait for race day to find out what’s possible 😉

Incredibly grateful for this whole experience and for everyone who was part of it — family, friends in Nice and everyone cheering from home 🫶🏽

And a huge thank you to everyone who helped get me to that start line: @goetzsami for getting me ready when it matters most, @ramsauer_radsport for making the bike race-ready, @enja.hobi for the many dry-needling needles to get the plantar fasciitis under control, @sponser for keeping my race nutrition on point - and last but not least @duxsports.ch for the last-minute swimskin rescue 😇

Now it’s time to enjoy a little off-season — and then, on to the next adventure✨

🌎✨ Here we are

Race eve in Nice — and I have to say, the course is pretty impressive 🥹

First, a swim in the sea — hopefully with a little less swell and salt preloading than during the last few swims 🤭🌊

Then a hilly ride up to Col de Vence, which I’ve decided is basically just ¾ of a Flüela Pass in my head 😉

And finally a hot run along the Promenade des Anglais, right when the sun is doing its best ☀️🔥

Curious to see what tomorrow has in store — as they say, you never really know until race day… 😉

🇨🇭Schaffhauser Triathlon 2026

Back to the short distance this year – and I had so much fun! 🥰
Especially after coming straight from the mountains… the heat was quite the climate shock 🫠☀️

The swim had way less current than usual, but luckily there was a proper bike train to jump onto 🚴🏽‍♀️🚴🏽‍♀️🚴🏽‍♀️

And on the run, hearing my name shouted so many times almost made me forget about the heat – and even my little foot niggles 🥹

Truly grateful for everyone cheering out there!

🇸🇪 Ironman 70.3 Jönköping

A finish line that wasn’t meant to be...

It took me a few days to process this one🙃

After some good weeks of consistent training, I was simply excited to see what race day would bring. Unfortunately, a mechanical on the bike that couldn’t be fixed ended my race early🥺

As disappointing as it was, I’ve realised how much there is to be grateful for. I’m healthy, I stayed upright despite riding several kilometres in the rain with a flat tyre, and I’m surrounded by lovely people who remind me what truly matters beyond sport ✨

Not every race gives you a result. Some give you perspective😉

On to the next one 🔥

Time for real talk 🙏🏻

🫶🏼 Für mich ist Spitzensport ein Privileg. Ich liebe es, meine Grenzen zu testen und täglich an meine körperlichen und mentalen Limiten zu gehen. Spitzensport ist nicht einfach. Genau darum liebe ich den Sport: Du kannst zeigen, was du dir erarbeitet hast.

❤️‍🩹 Für mich ist der Profisport ein Privileg. Als Mädchen habe ich davon geträumt, doch damals war dieser Traum nicht realitätsnah. Nun darf ich diesen Weg im Triathlon gehen, und das motiviert mich jeden Tag, Vollgas zu geben.

👀 Die Kehrseite: Das Rookie-Profi-Jahr ist eine finanzielle Herausforderung. Ohne Unterstützung von Verband oder Verein ist man auf sich allein gestellt. Das glamouröse Profileben ist manchmal eher ein finanziell unsicherer Überlebenskampf.

💌 Darum hier meine Frage nach DEINEM Support! Schon kleine Beträge helfen mir, vorwärtszukommen. Ein Paar Schuhe, eine Tankfüllung, eine Nacht im Hotel oder auch nur die Gummibärchen für den Long Ride, alles ist ein Teil des Ganzen. Sei auch du Teil meines Weges an die Weltspitze!

🫶🏼 To me, elite sport is a privilege. I love testing my limits and pushing myself physically and mentally every single day. Elite sport isn't easy—and that's exactly why I love it. It's where you get to show what you've worked so hard for.

❤️‍🩹 Being a professional athlete is a privilege, too. As a little girl, I dreamed about it, but back then it didn't feel realistic. Today, I get to live that dream through triathlon, and that motivates me to give everything I have, every single day.

🇪🇸 Ironman 70.3 Alcúdia Mallorca

A season opener I’ve been dreaming about ✨
2nd place AG 25–29 🥈, 4th overall woman, and to top it all off — secured the slot for the 70.3 World Champs in Nice 🌍💥

Swimming in the beautiful bay of Alcúdia, riding past the “famous gas station” at Luc 😄 before battling the headwind back, and then heading into the half marathon not really knowing what to expect.
But the incredible support along the course, with so many familiar faces cheering, helped me pull off a run I honestly didn’t see coming 🏃🏼‍♀️🔥

So grateful for everyone supporting me along this journey ❤️ Because that’s exactly what makes this sport so truly special to me — the friendships, shared passion, and unforgettable people you meet along the way 💫

It‘s time to say goodbye. Meine intensive Zeit als Triathlet hat leider ein Ende gefunden. Das was bleibt, sind die Erinnerungen an all diese Momente, die diesen Sport für mich zum grossen Traum gemacht haben.

Leider muss ich meine Profikarriere beenden...

Nach meiner letztjährigen Verletzung, der Operation und dem erfolgreichen Comeback am Ironman in Thun, wurden nur wenige Tage danach, aufgrund eines Zwischenfalls, Herzprobleme bei mir festgestellt. In enger Abstimmung mit Ärzten und meinem Team habe ich die Entscheidung
getroffen, meine aktive Laufbahn zu beenden – eine Entscheidung, die mir sehr schwerfällt, die aber unumgänglich ist und zu der mir klar geraten wurde, um meine Gesundheit zu schützen.

In den letzten Jahren habe ich mich immer wieder zurückgekämpft, um meinen grossen Traum, den Sport zu leben, zu verfolgen. Gerade nach meinem erfolgreichen Comeback in Thun habe ich mich unheimlich darauf gefreut, endlich wieder regelmässig Wettkämpfe bestreiten zu dürfen. Doch leider bleibt mir das verwehrt. Ich hätte mir gewünscht, das Ende meiner Profi-Karriere selbst zu wählen – nun wurde mir dieser Schritt auf eine harte Art und Weise abgenommen und mein grosser Traum endet hier.

Ein grosser Dank gilt meiner Familie und Freunden sowie meinem Team und Sponsoren, die mich auf meinem Weg unterstützt und begleitet haben. Und ich danke allen, die mit mir und meinem Traum mitgefiebert haben.

Triathlon war mehr als nur ein Sport für mich: Es war Leidenschaft, Herausforderung
und Lebensweg zugleich. Nun beginnt für mich ein neuer Abschnitt, welcher auch
immer das sein mag...

Was für eine Stimmung, was für ein Rennen...

@ironmanswitzerland das war grossartig, danke an den überwältigenden Support von euch allen an der Strecke!!! Das Rennen war für mich vor allem speziell wegen den vielen, vielen Menschen welche mich bei meinem Comeback-Rennen so angefeuert und mitgefiebert haben.

Auf P5 über die Ziellinie zu kommen macht das alles so perfekt.

Danke an das ganze Team, welches die letzten Monate alles daran gesetzt hat, dass dieser Moment möglich wird.
