Luganda is fascinating!! Let's say, Kabalagala. Remember the movie ‎⁨@pinkpanthermgm where inspector cruizo(not sure of spelling) tries to pronounce hamburger? this reminded me that.

Represented Uganda and it was such fun @dayz.desire @vanvickyventures !!Life with these three ladies is always full of surprises. I came to taste cuisines from different countries, ended performing and teaching dance.

Spring activities in the Fraser Valley just got a major upgrade 🌷🐰

If you’re looking for family-friendly Easter events near Vancouver, Greendale Acres Farm is officially open for their Sweet Spring season—and it’s one of those spots that can easily fill an entire day.

Located in Chilliwack (about an hour from Vancouver), this is a great option if you’re planning spring break activities, Easter weekend outings, or a day trip with kids.

Here’s what you can expect:
• Easter egg hunt through the orchard (kids collect eggs + trade them for a prize)
• Bunny-themed obstacle course
• Bubble stations + jumping pillow
• Baby animals + train rides
• Tulip & daffodil gardens starting to bloom

✨ Parent tip: You don’t need to bring your own Easter basket—they provide everything for the kids, which makes it way easier.

Everything is set up in one area, so you’re not running around trying to plan your day—it’s one of those places where you can actually settle in and enjoy it too.

They’re open now through early May, with Easter events happening over the long weekend. They also offer annual memberships if you’re planning to come back for multiple seasons.

If you’re building your list of things to do with kids in Vancouver and the Fraser Valley this spring, this is definitely one to add.

👉 Make sure you’re following me for family-friendly Easter events and spring activities your kids will love and you’ll actually enjoy too.

Rainy season has officially begun, which means my child has started parkouring off furniture again ☔️

Here are some indoor adventures that preserve both my sanity and my drywall:

✨ @scienceworldca — hands-on learning disguised as fun (parent win)
🌌 @spacecentreyvr — space magic + planetarium = quiet children
🏛️ @museumofsurrey — interactive, calm, and FREE
🧸 @bouncenplaycafe — for the under-7 crowd who love imaginative play and gentle chaos
💥 @glowplayground — for kids who need to climb, jump, bounce, and generally “get the wiggles out”
🏙️ @kidtropolis — pretend-play city that somehow keeps kids busy forever
🎮 @castlefunpark — arcade vibes for big kid energy and competitive parents
🎨 @theclaycottageceramicstudio (Abbotsford) — cozy ceramic painting for when you want to slow the day down and feel artsy

Rain doesn’t cancel plans here… it just forces us to be more creative 😂

👇 Save this for the next soggy weekend

I can’t believe we just discovered @kidtropolis — the ultimate indoor mini-city where kids can play, pretend, and step into the shoes of grown-ups! 👩‍🚒🍕✈️ From running their own café to piloting a plane, every corner sparks imagination.

We stopped by for their Winter Wonder Kids Carnival and it was such a hit! The craft was led by @littlebuilders.academy , and the kiddos had the best time creating their own light-up villages. 🏠💡 Huge thanks to @freshslicesabard , who was one of the vendors and so kindly treated our crew to pizza for lunch — you made our day! 🍕💖

Check my stories for a peek at some of the amazing vendors that popped up for the event, and if you missed this one, don’t worry — Kidtropolis is open year-round with endless play opportunities for your little ones.

Save this post for your next indoor play adventure, and make sure you’re following me for more family-friendly fun around Vancouver and beyond! 💫

We squeezed every drop of fun out of Greendale Acres and somehow still didn’t do it all. 😅
This Chilliwack farm is FULL of August events and activities — and it’s one of the best family day trips we’ve done this summer. Here’s what we loved (and what you should know before you go):

🌽 Bouncy pillow, playground, bubbles, +goats
🚂 Train ride around the farm?
🍕Sweet corn pizza + lavender lemonade were unexpected wins
🎶 Live music + lawn games kept the grownups happy
🌸 The flower field is blooming (and ready for all your golden hour dreams Aug 16 & 17!)
👑 And my little niece? She totally crushed the corn on the cob eating contest (against a bunch of grown men I might add!)

Here’s what’s coming up:
• Flower Workshops every Wednesday
• Live music every Saturday night (family-friendly + licensed)
• Flower Festival: August 16 & 17 — don’t miss it

🎟 Admission is $18 online / $21 at the gate
📍Chilliwack, BC
🗓 Events run all month long!

Save this post, tag your summer crew, and go make the memory. 🌾
