I was obsessed with American TV shows as a kid- especially ones set in California- So when California dreams came along it was an instant favourite. Been wanting to make the cast for a while so finally got round to getting them all done! Each figure comes with a cassette featuring a song from the show! I tried to go all out and make them look as if they’d just hit the pegs in 1994- I’d have bugged the hell out of my mum and dad to buy me these back in the day!! #CaliforniaDreams #Djfcustoms

2021. Discovery, grief, reunions, passings, engagements, love, life, sorrow, growth, run-ins, weddings, move-ins, move-outs, cinema, theatre, travel. Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New Orleans, London, Austin, New York, Minneapolis, Ohio. I’ve cherished every moment of this crazy year — the good, the bad, the ugly, and the downright beautiful. Cheers to 2021 — may 2022 bring all of the same…with a little less of the downright scary (I’m looking at you, COVID). I have been so very lucky and am so deeply grateful. Happy, Happy New Year to you all. 🥂 #newyearseve #2021 #2021recap #planetearth #la

New tag! What's your top 3 favourite PIXAR movies! Feel free to play along even if I haven't tagged you!
Here are my top 3!
1️⃣ Toy Story! The first of the Pixar films didn't just set the bar but raised it to infinity and beyond! I remember watching as a kid and thinking this was the way animation would be done from now on! But it wasn't just the use of computer animation that made this a classic! The Story, the voice acting talent, the concept and the heartfelt characters are what make this one of the best films ever made!
2️⃣Wall.E! I've always had a soft spot for robots (Johnny Five melted my heart) but I never dreamed that an animated Love story between two robots could be so touching! The near silent first half is a triumph in animation and the second half is a fantastic Sci-Fi romp!
3️⃣ The Incredibles! I'm a huge superhero fan and the amount of comics, Tv and film that contain Superheroes Is unbelievable! The fact that this animated masterpiece managed to create an original and unique yet simple story that is as thrilling as some of the best MCU movies and at times a whole lot funnier! The world building concept is exceptional but it's the core storytelling that's so fulfilling! It's all about family, and while they may have super powers they are as normal and relatable as most families!

A brilliant collection of macabre, humorous poetry from @dazzafield. As a lover of brevity in art my favourite is 'James was born with a pumpkin for a head, So come Halloween, he'd carve children instead.' #vaultofthemacabre #horror #halloween
