The Fashion Illustration Guide (FIG)by Yega has been such a grounding guide for me lately. As a fashion artist trying to find her voice in a sea of great voices, it can get overwhelming — trying to beat the algorithm, trying to show up consistently. But this guide reminds me of what truly matters: staying true to myself in the process of making art — experimenting, evolving, and daring to create beyond comfort. This week’s episode, “Is the Algorithm Your Creative Director?”, really stood out to me. My takeaways: 1️⃣ A true artist isn’t just inspired, but inspires others. 2️⃣ The way to stand out today is to be *radically different* — not performative, but genuinely yourself. 3️⃣ Protect your uniqueness. Yega said to fire the algorithm and create for the sake of creating — no pressure, no deadlines, just art. Today’s illustration is me doing just that — trying something new, inspired by Dazzle Gloss, a small but growing lip gloss brand in Akure. It smells amazing and truly dazzles, just like its name. 💋✨ . . #productillusration #dazzle #FashionDrawingArtist #ShowingUp #fashion illustration #fashion #lipgloss
