@dbattleground_ Vol. 6 ❤️‍🔥

My first time fully in charge of organising an external battle, also my last event before retiring as @nus.dhoppers’s dance captain

Last year when I was pubs, comm decided to take a break from DBG and I was the one who edited the announcement. This year, we brought it back.

Definitely a blessing to have so many people coming down and supporting us, and luckily with many compliments as well 🥹 To @saywhatcypher @jerelwithaj, thank you for reaching out to me in the first place, and bringing in such fresh additions to the battle, from different elements of hiphop to crazy creative pubs materials. Thank you to @cay.ke for being my 2IC handling finance with rynius, and for being such a strong pillar of support when I crashed out iykyk

To my DDC comms, d’bigbacks and d’babies, thank you for holding this event down with me. All the shenanigans and crash outs along the way, we shall keep it as memories then #traumabonding

To all the judges, DJs, emcees, guest performers, media team and especially battlers and audience, thank you for making DBG such a memorable one 🫶🏻

And lastly, thank you to all DDC alumni and members for coming down, joining battle, watching or supporting from afar, it really do mean a lot 🙌🏻

Long ahh reflection again but I’m glad that my dance capt journey ends with so much love and support from people from DDC and from the community too 🫶🏻 As Chops said, it’s good to know days like these still happen :)

This journey has been going on for so many years, many reason to stop yet we still keep going. So many uncountable memories has been collect, so many beautiful soul to meet. So many people who share the same force from different place and keep pushing the boundaries.

No matter ups & down, dance & hip hop is always there for me. I feel blessed to be introduced and guided to this path.

Excuse me for not being a phone guy and always enjoy the moment with my real eyes.

If there is a choice, i’ll always choose abunDance. Thanks to all the angel that appear in my journey, some as a reflection, some as a support of unconditional love. Im grateful for all, Thanks Lord for giving me the strength to handle all the challenges so i can be the best version of myself.

Shoutout to all the dreamers who step-up for their dream, tough time dont last tough people do.
