CAMPING CHALLENGE ACCEPTED : my sister and her family came out to Minnesota this summer and we took them TENT CAMPING and HIKING 🥾
.
🤩 this is was a special experience and unique challenge because 2 of our Hall cousins are autistic which means any amount of variables could make them unpredictably uncomfortable or unsettled! With 3 adults and 9 kids - we had to be prepared for anything and everything as well as the flexibility to PIVOT through all plans and circumstances.
.
🥰 it was an absolute blast because the kids had each other! Hiking together and camping together meant an abundance of curiosity, cuddles, hand holding, questions + answers, story telling, bravery, and patience.
.
🙌🏼 we simply cannot wait until the next adventure with our mixed bag of nuts!

MAZATLAN MEXICO - cruise stop #2
.
We learned so much about the city and culture from our super cool tour guide Gina! It was fun to see the sights I remember from my senior trip and to see how much the city has changed.
.
The Basilica is a pride point for Mazatlan and a cultural religious education for our family. The organ in this super old church was made by the same person who made the organ in the Notre Dame cathedral!!!

CRUISE STOP #1: CABO SAN LUCAS - we ventured out on a catamaran sailing and snorkeling adventure in Chileno Bay! We were able to view the Cabo Arch and Lover’s Beach from our boat.
.
The snorkeling visibility wasn’t the best due to the recent storms but the water was warm and we were still able to see creatures like parrotfish, sea lions, and a loggerhead turtle.
.
I’m impressed by my kids. A few of them were super freaked out by the idea of snorkeling in the deep ocean and jumping off a boat in the open ocean but they did it! And yes there were a few of us that couldn’t WAIT to jump in!!

2025 Summer Family Camping Trip : George H. Crosby Manitou State Park!
.
🥾 we enjoyed hiking this small yet beautiful state park! We started off with a hike through the woods and over rocks to the falls - only to finish the hike with a surprising steep finish but views that wowed. We ended our state park visit on a serene board walk hike around a small and clear lake.
.
🥾We brought the boys and Sanka ended up jumping into the falls and mom had to go after him!

⚽️ DREAMS COMING TRUE OVER HERE! GO COUGS! We took our kids to the BYU vs UofM women’s soccer game and it was a TREAT!
.
💙 BYU demonstrated grit on the field after playing most of the game down a player (a bogus red card call) and kept their cool. We saw intentional passing, utilization of space, INCREDIBLE one v one footwork that won everytime, and a united team we could only hope to play like!
.
💛 We enjoyed some playful banter with Goldie! I think he may have had more fun with the BYU fan section!
.
💙 we got to meet and talk with the team. We heard praises of team spirit, testimonies of faith and hard work, and we got to meet the amazing Coach Jennifer Rockwood!

CHEERS TO TRYING NEW THINGS!! ⛳️ Dallin took me real golfing for our anniversary - I have been BEGGING him to take me for years!
.
Dallin was so patient with me as I asked a million questions, didn’t take things seriously but then whined later when I was doing well, and laughing instead of getting mad. He’s a saint. He’s competitve but not too prideful to be a jerk when things don’t go his way.
.
Here’s what I learned about golfing - it’s harder than it looks! It’s a precision sport that takes tiny adjustments to make a big impact. It takes TIME to get your swings just right. Every golf course is indeed different. ⛳️
.
My favorite part? Spending time with Dallin while learning something new from him.
.
DISCLAIMER : I’m a NEW NEW newbie to golf and I KNOW I’ve got to work on so many things. But if you wanna go for 9 holes just for swings+giggles - let’s go!

Motivation Monday : @dbcougblue is the heart of my motivation to do EVERYTHING and ANYTHING and he is also my greatest motivator! This man is not only my husband - father of my children - best friend - hiking buddy - game day bestie - lover - he is my business partner - cheerleader - accountability partner - and brainstorm sounding board (and muscles when I need to rearrange my office).
.
He’s always willing and excited to try new Mary Kay products (applicable to his skin type and needs of course).
.
He’s always coming up with ideas and suggestions for our Mary Kay business as well as helping me to make SMART decisions.
.
I want to take this man across the world on top director trips, I want to take him out on a date in a pink Cadillac, and I want to take him along on all my pink dream adventures.

⚽️WE ARE A SOCCER FAMILY ⚽️
.
💙🩵Spring (summer) 2025 Season Recap! Our FIRST full season of having ALL FOUR KIDS playing competitive soccer for @legacyfcmn
.
💙🩵There was some jersey swapping and borrowing happening. Good thing they all can pull off wearing similar sizes. Lots of fighting over the clean socks!
.
💙🩵New positions were tried out this season as well so Thank You to the coaches who encouraged (more often pushed) our kids to play outside their comfort zones!
.
💙🩵Dad did get to coach two teams @dbcougblue and the kids LOVE having their dad as their coach. Each team felt like family!
.
💙🩵I’m over here living out my soccer mom dreams 😆 I’m going to enjoy it while it lasts! It means so much to Dallin and I that our kids love soccer. It is a global language and we’re so blessed to have a Competitve club in our hometown!
