2025 Recap…
Late Post…
This year began as an intriguing one. In January 2025, my band/ family Fortress had only two gigs lined up, with agency representation. I met with my team and expressed my confidence in their abilities. I believed that if they gave me their time and trust, I could overcome any challenges. They did and we moved forward together. I placed my faith in God and made a decision that I was certain about. After over 15 years of experience, I was confident in my abilities.

God responded by sending a series of rams into my life. I have so much gratitude and appreciation for the close colleagues, planners, guests from weddings and events, my beautiful brides, and even their parents who became my word-of-mouth promotion and marketing squad. They actively searched for me through social media platforms and text messages. By the end of the year, we had secured 23 gigs!

While I won’t delve into the personal challenges that arose during the year, I lost some friends and a true mother figure. Both my sister and my husband faced significant health scares.

Despite these setbacks, I remain grateful for the opportunities that came my way. As I sit next to my husband, approaching the Bermuda shore for my final gig of the year, I am beyond grateful. If this moment marks the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, I eagerly anticipate God’s plan, knowing that it will be extraordinary!!!
