Why is it that psychedelics can change the way you see yourself? And let you somehow just…let go… of incredibly long held beliefs? They temporarily disrupt the usual patterns of the default mode network, which helps shape our sense of self. This often allows you to step outside your familiar story and see yourself (and your world) differently.

I talked about this, among many other things, with @dbellumio on the @betterness.ai Augmented Wellness podcast, available whenever you watch or listen to your podcasts 🎧

What happens between doctor visits?

The appointment is one part of recovery. @dbellumio and Dr. Cesar Ceballos discuss rehabilitation homework, everyday information, and what AI might help clinicians understand between visits.

These are ideas and clinical perspectives—not evidence of a validated treatment feature.

The session is not the end of the work. Dr. Michelle Weiner brings the conversation back to everyday habits and the desire to take better care of yourself. A perspective on integration, not a promise of a particular treatment outcome.

What if a song, a moment and a voice note could help someone remember what came up during a session? Michelle responds to our live interface demo and explores the potential for reflection afterward. This is a demonstration, not treatment footage. Tracking is not clinical monitoring or proof of safety.

“Music is the hidden therapist.”

This conversation is personal.

Dr. Michelle Weiner is Demian’s physician, friend, and someone who shares his commitment to making care more accessible—and more holistic.

Their friendship began at the intersection of her clinical work and his journey building Nue Life.

On Augmented Wellness, @dbellumio sits down with @drmichelleweiner of NeuroPain Health to explore music, ket@mine-assisted therapy (KAT), and why the experience around the medicine matters.

From the music-responsive bed to preparation, integration, and everyday habits, this is a conversation about caring for the whole person.

Not every wearable measures every signal equally well.

P3RSONAL partnered with Betterness to help members connect the devices they already use and choose the strongest source for each metric - Apple Watch for one signal, WHOOP or Eight Sleep for another - while giving the coach one clearer view.

The goal is not more dashboards. It is better context for the next decision.

Personalization should not disappear when the session ends.

P3RSONAL partnered with Betterness to extend each coach's method beyond the studio, combining activity, recovery, nutrition, wearables, labs, and coach-authored plans without replacing the coach's judgment.

The technology scales the support. The relationship stays human.

Nutrition coaching cannot stop at the studio door.

P3RSONAL partnered with Betterness to help its coaches understand meals in context: what a member ate, where they ate it, how it fits their goals, and which better options are nearby.

This is not another food log. It is more informed coaching between sessions, with the P3RSONAL team still at the center.

A coach may see a member for only a few hours each week. Results are shaped by everything that happens between those sessions.

P3RSONAL partnered with Betterness to connect outside workouts, recovery, sleep, nutrition, and the daily context that changes what the next plan should be.

Personalized wellness should understand the whole person, not just the appointment.
